Central wearing the yellow bandanna indicates he is the main protagonist and it indicates what gang he is part of Bandannas iconic of bloods and crips gangs in America The character looking out of the poster at the reader which connotes hostile nature of film Different colors on different sides makes it seem as if they are enemies Background colors muted which makes to opposing gang colors stand out “Crew” is slang for gang which shows the young/ teen target audience of film Writing resembles inner city building which Is a clue to where the film is set. The yellow color is explosive and the bold writing is eye catching. It also contrasts black background that connotes sadness, maybe because of the bleak background the movie is set in. Tag line “2 crews 1 city 24 hours” indicates it’s a fast paced film. The tagline appeals mainly to men. It resembles the tagline of a Hollywood blockbuster, it seems to glamorize violence unlike a social realist film
