2. Liam Howse (Ideas)
Idea 1: Rag’n’Bone Man - Human (Narrative) consists of a collage of shots, showing people going
through hard times and nearing the end of the video shows
them bouncing back and coming back stronger. In order to
introduce these characters they shall be doing certain activities
around a particular location such as a park or city/town centre .
Individually the camera will focus on them and their story
(Inspiration taken from Imagine Dragons - Demons
Idea 2: Broken Iris – Eyes of Tomorrow (Narrative) Focuses on the vocalist but he is portrayed as an
asylum inmate. Starts off in a ‘white room’ and the vocalist
sitting down strapped in a straight jacket, singing. Cuts to a shot
of him being dragged through a hallway by psychiatric guards
and getting injected with a syringe, where he then returns to his
‘white room’. As he begins singing again, the image of the band
overlaps and appears with a fade in effect, to make them seem
surreal and in his head. At the end of the video he stops signing
and the band is gone. It ends with an extreme close up and a
fade to black.
Idea 3: Hidden Citizens – Ain’t no Grave (Narrative) Vocalist wakes up in an abandoned warehouse
where him and his girlfriend are portrayed as ‘hostages’.
Masked abductors are shown torturing the man and his
girlfriend is taken away. As he sits in the chair he comes up with
a plan to break free, help his wife and escape. He beats up the
person watching him and finds his wife who is about to be
killed, he gets knocked down but when the strong vocals kick in
he gets up a manages to kill them. As the song ends, they escape
the warehouse.
Idea 4: Peking Duk – Say My Name (Narrative) Stereotypical portrayal of a boy who gets bullied,
gets humiliated but then starts to train and get fit and stronger in
which he eventually gets his comeuppance on his bully by
punching him in the face and walking away for the video to end.

3. Michael Ivan (Ideas)
Idea 1: One Republic – Secrets (Narrative) The idea of this music video revolves around the idea of
someone being insecure concerning their body/imperfections. The
character will hide it from the public, but within the music video the
character will slip up and as a result show his scars. The public will
start to laugh and this motivates him to become a more appealing
person to look at. He is then proud of what he looks like and the music
video ends there. The vocalist will feature within the narrative aspect
of the music video by singing alongside what is happening within the
scene but the audience will be made aware that he isn’t part of the
‘story’.
Idea 2: Linkin Park – One More Light (Narrative) A student is constantly failing his exams and over the
course of the music video shows him studying and working hard to
achieve better grades. This will be achieved by using temporal ellipsis
or time lapse to indicate the passing of time and to emphasise on the
hard work that has been put in. He takes the exam again and, he ends
up getting an A instead of his previous U.
Idea 3: Khalid – Dumb and Young (Narrative) Involves a wealthy student in which spends his money
very swiftly in order for him to feel superior to everyone else. During
the music video, he then loses all this money and in a sense, becomes
poor and people start to despise him. In this moment, he reflects on
how he used his money in the past and realises how people were just
using him because of his wealth, he had no real friends. In the end, he
starts to behave sensibly and makes real friends which are loyal. The
video translates that ‘having money isn’t everything’.
Idea 4: (Above) (Narrative) It starts off with a young boy, getting involved in bad
activities such as theft. The vocalist will be the older version of the boy
being showcased in the video. As the younger self continues to do bad
things, the vocalist shakes his head in realisation of how stupid his
actions in the past were. There will be similarities in both the young
boy and the vocalist to show to the audience that they are the same
people. At the end of the video there is a contrast shown on how
different the boys life is when he’s older. He is now a caring family
man.

4. Liam Cornwall-Tombs (Ideas)
Idea 1: Heaven 17 - Temptation (Narrative) Main character goes to a party and is drawn into
temptation to take drugs/illegal substances. He ends up getting
into trouble (i.e. Arrested/hospitalized). Artist is shown
throughout in order to act as a precognition of what is going to
happen.
Idea 2: Robbie Williams – Feel (Narrative) Main character is trying to comprehend how he is
feeling and not being able to understand them.
Idea 3: Queen – Another One Bites The Dust (Narrative) It’s set in a type of competition (arm
wrestling/boxing) and follows the story of a nerdy/shy character
in which he is talked down upon due to the way he looks and
act. He wants to change and starts training up and ends up
beating the competition with ease. Throughout the music video,
it will switch between the artist and the character. When it shows
the artist he will be in a dark room with a strong amount of
lighting in which correlates to the shots shown within the music
and the genre of song as Queen is an example of a power ballad
in which are usually about hope and this can be conveyed
through colors and lighting aspects.

5. Mykola Serbov (Ideas)
Idea 1: Lucas Graham – Criminal Mind (Narrative) Features two brothers who are very close and
attached to one another, but with progression through the music
video it shows them split off in two different paths, one involved
in the music industry, the other into a crime related lifestyle.
Idea 2: Lucas Graham – Before The Morning Sun (Narrative) Begins with a person who is in regret with decisions
that he has made in his life and is currently in a grieving state of
mind. He will feature walking through the town and into a
cemetery in which represents and replicates how his life is as
cemeteries can represent the feeling of darkness and isolation.
Idea 3: Vanic x Aquilo (Narrative) Focuses on a person who is reminiscing on the past
and remembering the memories he had with his recently
deceased friend. While the person keeps thinking and
contemplating whilst being sad, flashbacks will appear of them
being together. All aspects of the music video will tie into the
idea of it being very touching and emotional, this will include
things like slow paced editing,
