The T-Giro Wrench allows for accurate measurement of parameters in bolted joints that were previously difficult to measure, such as residual clamp load and torque. It uses patented torsion angle measurement technology to determine assembling and residual clamp loads without needing bolt grinding or load cells. The software can analyze torque and angle data from other tightening tools to determine values like residual torque, clamp load loss, and relaxation over time. The T-Giro Wrench provides non-destructive testing of actual joints and faster results than ultrasonic methods that require sample preparation and take days to complete.
3. What’s TGIRO purpose as compared to
OEM Standards i.e.: FST-10?
The TGIRO purpose is to facilitate and allow the control of previously hard to
measure assembling parameters on a bolted joint. I.e.: Residual Clamp Load,
Accurate Residual Torques and joint relaxation.
Used to determine an appropriate
assembly torque specification.
Used to check residual & assembling clamp-loads
AFTER assembling process is performed and can
also be used determine the appropriate torque
spec.
4. Accurate Measurement of Preload loss
Patented Technology using torsion angle measurements to
determine: Assembling & Residual Clamp-loads.
5. NO NEED FOR:
BOLT GRINDING/ LOAD-CELLS/ STRAIN GAUGES
Clamp-load Measurement Made Easy!
6. Preload loss by relaxation under static conditions
Assembling pre-loads will drop with time due
to joint-relaxation.
Utilizing conventional technologies to
measure Residual Torques and estimate joint
relaxation can be dangerous and it is
conceptually inadequate due to:
• Differences on points of reading;
• Static x Dynamic friction coefficients;
• Different accuracy between Assembling &
Testing tool.
