James and Tom are photographers who are asked by Detective Blue to go undercover to capture a photo of Roman Field, a notorious mob dealer suspected of organizing a million pound drug trade. When undercover, James and Tom start to struggle with nerves and keeping their cover identities. One of the mobsters, Ronnie, becomes suspicious of them. Fearing that Ronnie will discover them, James and Tom contact Detective Blue for help but he is too busy. They must now proceed on their own deeper into danger. Their mission is to take a photo during Roman Field's drug trade, but James and Tom argue over who will take the photo and who will lead the trade, putting their mission at risk.

1. The Life of a Photographer
‘The Life of a Photographer’ tells the story of James and Tom, two really
close friends who have worked as unnoticed photographers for a
gruelling two years. They have an exceeding amount of interest in taking
photography up to the next level and their dreams seem to come to
reality when Detective Blue asks them to go undercover. Their mission:
to capture a snap-shot of Roman Field, a notorious mob dealer
suspected of organising a one million pound drug trade.
When undercover, James and Tom start off well but aren’t as fearless as
they intended. Tom starts to develop a nervous twitch and James is too
scared to stay in character. When faced with dangerous consequences,
the two friends still aim to succeed but one of the mobsters named
Ronnie doesn’t think very much of James and Tom being drug dealers
and threatens to keep a closer watch on their behaviour.
Behind a hard and unsolved think James and Tom decide to get in touch
with Detective Blue and ask for his assistance as they are now weary of
Ronnie knowing about them. Following the phone call to Detective Blue,
who is too busy to aid the duo, James and Tom are told to proceed on
their own. Now in the midst of a drug war and going into even more
treacherous surroundings, they must fight to keep their cover ... and their
job.
After catching James making made an unintelligent phone call to his
girlfriend and telling her what’s going on, a clued-up Ronnie seems to
see through their disguise, but luckily no one believes him. Apart from
Ronnie, nobody suspects anything of the two friends and it seems as if
James and Tom are doing well.
When the task came upon them James and Tom were both eager to
catch this unique moment of Roman Field undertaking his drug-trade.
Both friends argue over who is going to take the photo and who’s going
to do the trade. A really hard decision for the two friends to settle on. As
in the past James has exceeded in getting Tom into extremely
dangerous situations.
In the end the two friends decide and go fourth with this plan;
undercover Tom leading the drug trade, snap-happy James taking the
2. photo. But with this decision comes major doubts for a strictly organised
Tom who can only see James messing it up like he does all the time.
Can James and Tom stop arguing for long enough to catch the perfect
snap-shot? Will Ronnie uncover the truth about them to meticulous and
cruel Roman Field? Or does Detective Blue have other ideas altogether?
