experienced site supervisor and have over seas experience. I have experience in the following

As a team leader on an over seas site.
Drafting skills is 2D and 3D Autocad and 2D and 3D Microstation, Inventor modelling
as well as Revit.
A Diverse knowledge in mining from Gold, Platinum, Chrome, Copper to Iron ore

My duties are:
The updating of drawing registers.

My duties were:

Details of conveyors
GA and Detail of Scrubbing, Screening &
Crushing plants
Layout of Conveyors for port loading.
Layout and details of surface infrastructure.
Leading a team of designers and setting up project
drawing registers and deliverable lists.
I was involved with the Karara iron ore, Chelopech
Gold mine, Shark bay salt, API and Roy Hill iron
projects. Was involved with the 60MTA Solomon

iron ore project, which involved 10 conveyors a
crushing plant a screening building a scrubbing plant
and a tailings pond. I was also involved with the
gateway project.
DOORNKOP GOLD MINE - SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN DRAFTSMAN
January 2006-February 2008
Doornkop gold mine is part of the Harmony gold mine Group the 5th
largest gold mine group
in the world. I was hired to help with the design and site supervising of the shaft deepening
project.
My duties were the drawing of the Conveyor general arrangements
Details of conveyors
Details of box fronts and station tips
Details of station steelwork
Layout and details of surface infrastructure.
Layout and detail of rolling stock
I was also involved with the design ans installation of site alterations as required by the
engineers on site.
KELIAN EQUATORIAL GOLD MINE – SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR
January 2005 November 2005
Kelian equatorial gold mine is part of the Rio tinto group.
A Team of us were sent to Indonesia to dismantle a Gold plant, containerise it and rebuild it
in Gunee for Guinor. The process took 9 months to dismantle and 12 moths to recommission
in Gunee.
My duties were the supervising of the dismantling process and to make detailed drawings of
the parts of the plant that could not be recovered.
RSV ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS – SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN
DRAFTMAN January 2002 – December 2004
RSV does project management for all the big mining houses in southern Africa
My duties were the design and layout of conveyors for different mines in South Africa.

ESCOM MATIMBA POWER STATION – DRAFTSMAN 1992 - 2002
Escom is South Africa’s power utility.
I started of my career in Escom as a lift and crane technician and later became a learner
draftsman where qualified in 1994 as a draftsman.
My duties were the reverse engineering of components that were unobtainable so that we
could remanufacture them.
EARLIER CAREER
I stated as a learner technician at the Atomic Energy Corporation and later changed
over to become an apprentice. I qualified as a Tool and Die maker in 1987.
I left and went to work in the Motor and Armament industry for the about 4 years as
first a toolmaker and later as a quality control inspector.
I studied at Pretoria West Technical Collage where I obtained N5 Certification.
