the causes of behaviour or events.
• There are 2 types of attribution: Dispositional Attribution and Situational
Attribution
• Dispositional Attribution (Internal Attribution) is the explanation of
individual behaviour as a result caused by internal characteristics that
reside within the individual, as opposed to external (situational)
influences that stem from the environment or culture in which that
individual is found.
• Situational Attribution (External Attribution) is the attributes of your
behaviour to the external or circumstantial causes. It refers to
understanding an event or behaviour as being caused by the situation that
the individual is in.
14. How dispositional attribution is
applied in the video ?
Mr. Abdullah said that if the students did not do anything for the project,
they will not get the marks as well. He purposely said that in order to make
them work. Losing their marks is shown that he receives a result of their
negative behaviour.
