This letter is to express my interest in your positions, our company is in the process for closure
and busy with the retrenchment of employees.
Based on my skills and knowledge in the mining workshops, underground and above, in workshops &
maintaining hydraulic equipment, working on CM’s, Voest, JNA’s, trunk belts, battery haulers, shuttle
cars, compressors, feeder breakers, roof bolts, flameproof equipment and did maintenance
management, breakdown assistance, fitting, rebuilds and repair and supervision and training,
reporting and auditing, with more than 19 years experience, I think I will be a good addition to your
team.
My resume that highlights my ability, knowledge and expertise in maintenance on equipment both
underground and short wall operations is enclosed during my time at Arnot Coal (Exxaro Resources)
and with P.M.R Rustenburg at a Platinum mine. With both companies I was able to succeed, save
money and time and apply and coach to work save and build professional relationships with team
members, contractors and clients, in all operations. I also have good planning and organizational
skills. I have also managed the maintenance team which included a contracting team (Phambili & Joy
Global employees), including performance management, training and development, leave
management, overtime and health and safety.
I have also compile, implement and manage maintenance schedules and reports to provide effective
support to operations.
I am excited about these positions in a new environment and would also like to have the opportunity
to work in an African country and the ability to help this company succeed in their operations.
