This work was done as an assignment to gather and present the data of three years using pictures, bar graphs and tables about the Educational statistics of Pakistan.
3. Introduction : Quality of education depends on the physical environment
and availability of facilities such as water and sanitation in educational
institution. In this context, statistics on public sector school shows that
availability of drinking water is positively related with the level of
educational institution e.g. given upper secondary schools in relation to
lower secondary and primary schools are best provided with drinking water
facility e.g. 64% primary, 80% middle and 91% upper secondary schools
have water available.

7. According to the official statistics, there is no drinking water available in more than 42000 primary
schools out of 124284 primary schools of Pakistan. According to the report 90 schools are at risk of
polio in FATA. The children are facing difficulties I n most schools of Sindh, Baluchistan and Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa due to lack of drinking water.
8. This table shows the availability of drinking water according
national wise, provincial wise and level wise. (2012-2013)
