Y: midline of the mesiodistal width.
Z-spring position in the 1/3 gingival part.
5. Fabrication
• Bend the first arm with a coil at one end of
the wire.
• The arm should be parallel to mesiodistal
axis of the tooth.
• Bend another coil with the same size and
diameter at the other end of the tooth width.
• The wire from the first to the second coil
should follow z flow.
• From the 2nd coil, bend the wire parallel to
the mesiodistal axis of the tooth.
6. • Anterior arm:
On top of coil.
Ends folded away from tissue.
Fabrication
• At the middle part of the tooth,
bend the arm towards the palate
at 90° angle.
• Z-spring position in the 1/3
gingival part.
