Project Charter
Communication
Objective:
To improve the Curing performance and features to make process more reliable with conformance and
durability through better service, aesthetics and to ensure its sustainability.
D M A I C
Performance:
The performance of Curing can be improved by adopting the following steps:
1- Production Target on daily basis.
2- Cost reduction can be achieved by enhancing output, on-time preventive maintenance, control
fabric mixing and wastage control.
3- The best quality can be achieved when we have no stoppages, follow 5S theory and motivation of
workers .
4-Follow the sequence of program of ready to cure fabric according to FIFO method.
5- Should maintain record keeping.
DEFINE PHASE
1-Travel cards are not properly attached with batchers and trolleys.
Challenges faced in curing are listed below:
2- Mix fabric
3-Provide unidentified fabric to Finishing & washing.
4-Mis-management in handling of batchers and trolleys.
5-House keeping issue.
6-Registers are not properly maintained.
7-Overlapping of curing fabric on RFP fabric.
8- Different Width
MEASURE
- Do not have receiving procedure of fabric from Previous department
-Do not have production target on daily basis.
-Workers are not properly trained.
-Same number on two different batchers.
