Leads and supervises the Leave of Absence and Compliance HR teams on daily functions as well as long term
goals for each team.
Collect and analyze data on each team and its members to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Handles employee relation issues as needed with a sense of urgency and confidentiality for all parties involved.
Point of contact for leaves of absences, including issues relating to FMLA, military leaves and all other leave types.
Facilitates the process for employees who have been on LOA for an extended period of time, including
conducting an interactive dialogue with the employee on their ability to return to their job and coordinates the final
step of the leave process. Stays in communication with the employee in all steps of this process, up to and
including communication of employee terminations.
Uses a case management system to handle incoming requests from outside field users and manage team member’s
