B. Motivation
Are you familiar with Korean classic food?
Okay then. I’ll group you into two groups.
Then each group will be given some puzzle
pieces then you’re going to rearrange them
correctly. After you rearrange the puzzle
pieces, you’ll identify what’s on the puzzle.
And lastly, you re going to post it on the
board.
Understand?
I’ll give you 5 minutes to do it.
To know a little about Kimchi, it is a staple
in Korean cuisine, is a traditional side dish
made from salted and fermented vegetables.
C. Activity:
Before we proceed to our topic we will have an
activity first. This activity is called Pic to
words. I’ll show some pictures and you’re
going to guess it. I will give you a clue. The
answers will be Korean classic food so it won’t
be difficult for you to guess. Understand?

Then, what is Korean Egg Roll?
Okay, very good. Thank you.
To give you a bit of meaning, Korean egg roll is
called gyeran mari Gyeran means egg and mari
describes the status of being rolled up. So,
essentially, Korean egg roll, Korean rolled egg
and Korean rolled omelette means the same
thing.
Korean Egg Roll, ma’am!
Core plus Ian (Ian Veneracion) plus rolling eggs
equals Korean Egg Roll!

Our topic for today is about Korean Egg Roll!

First I’m going to show you the tools that we’re
going to use. Those are:
(the teacher will let the students to read what’s
on the screen)
 Pair of chopsticks
 Fork or whisk
 Knife
 Frying pan
 Spatula
 Chopping board
Second, the ingredients. Those are:
 4 eggs
 1 tablespoon of milk
 1 cup of carrot (diced)
 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
 1 tablespoon green part of spring onion, finely
chopped
 1 bowl of diced or ground meat (sautéed), ham,
bacon, and hotdog
 ¼ cup of diced cheese
 ½ tsp. of Salt and freshly ground pepper for
seasoning
 cooking oil
After discussing to you the tools and
ingredients, here are some sanitary work
precautions to be followed.
1. Before you begin, roll up long sleeves, tie
back long hair and remove loose clothing
that might get in the way or catch on
something.
2. Wash your hands and dry them well. Wet
hands can be slippery.
3. Wipe up spills as soon as they happen.
Wet place can be slippery.
4. When cooking with frying pan, be sure to
hold the handle to prevent accident.
5. Always pick up the knives by their handle
and do not point them to anyone.
6. Before leaving the workplace, check that the
gas stove is turned off.

Here it goes.
First step: wear your cooking outfit then
wash your hands.
Second: Obtain ingredients.
Third: Whisk Eggs
Fourth: Clean Vegetables and dice it.
Fifth: Mix ingredients
Sixth: prepare frying pan.
Seventh: Pour mixture into the pan.
Eighth: Cool mixture.
Ninth: Cut into bite size pieces
Tenth: Serve

Preliminary Activities 1. Prayer Before we start, __________, kindly lead the prayer. 2. Greetings Good morning, class! You may now take your seat. 3. Checking of attendance Class monitor, is everybody present today? Please check the attendance. . 4. Review Alright then. Class, can you still remember our last topic? Now, to test if you really remember, I would like to ask the class about our last topic. So, what is our topic last time? Okay, very good! I’m glad that you still Heavenly Father….Amen! Good morning, Ma’am. Good morning classmates. (The class monitor will do as told.) There is no absent today, ma’am. Yes, ma’am! Our topic last time was Mojos!

Then each group will be given some puzzle pieces then you’re going to rearrange them correctly. After you rearrange the puzzle pieces, you’ll identify what’s on the puzzle. And lastly, you re going to post it on the board. Understand? I’ll give you 5 minutes to do it. To know a little about Kimchi, it is a staple in Korean cuisine, is a traditional side dish made from salted and fermented vegetables. C. Activity: Before we proceed to our topic we will have an activity first. This activity is called Pic to words. I’ll show some pictures and you’re going to guess it. I will give you a clue. The answers will be Korean classic food so it won’t be difficult for you to guess. Understand? Okay, ma’am. Yes, we are! (Group one and two will do as told) (Kimchi) Understand!

Correct. Very good, (name of student)! D. Analysis Class, what do you think is our topic for today? Great! Then, what is Korean Egg Roll? Okay, very good. Thank you. To give you a bit of meaning, Korean egg roll is called gyeran mari Gyeran means egg and mari describes the status of being rolled up. So, essentially, Korean egg roll, Korean rolled egg and Korean rolled omelette means the same thing. Korean Egg Roll, ma’am! Core plus Ian (Ian Veneracion) plus rolling eggs equals Korean Egg Roll! Korean Egg Roll, too, ma’am! Our topic for today is about Korean Egg Roll! (answers may vary)

Those are: (the teacher will let the students to read what’s on the screen)  Pair of chopsticks  Fork or whisk  Knife  Frying pan  Spatula  Chopping board Second, the ingredients. Those are:  4 eggs  1 tablespoon of milk  1 cup of carrot (diced)  1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped  1 tablespoon green part of spring onion, finely chopped  1 bowl of diced or ground meat (sautéed), ham, bacon, and hotdog  ¼ cup of diced cheese  ½ tsp. of Salt and freshly ground pepper for seasoning  cooking oil After discussing to you the tools and ingredients, here are some sanitary work precautions to be followed. 1. Before you begin, roll up long sleeves, tie back long hair and remove loose clothing that might get in the way or catch on something. 2. Wash your hands and dry them well. Wet hands can be slippery. 3. Wipe up spills as soon as they happen. Wet place can be slippery. 4. When cooking with frying pan, be sure to hold the handle to prevent accident. 5. Always pick up the knives by their handle and do not point them to anyone. 6. Before leaving the workplace, check that the gas stove is turned off. Are you ready in cooking Korean egg roll? Yes, ma’am. We are!

Fifth: Mix ingredients Sixth: prepare frying pan. Seventh: Pour mixture into the pan. Eighth: Cool mixture. Ninth: Cut into bite size pieces Tenth: Serve E. Abstraction Did you understand the lesson?
