2. About me!
My name is Ella Nguyen Burgos. I graduated from Southwestern Adventist University where
I studied Elementary Education. I have had many opportunities where I got to spend
time and watch children grow such as at summer camp, Sabbath school, and sports. It is
fulfilling for me to be able to do what I enjoy and impact children’s lives. I enjoy activities such
as hiking, swimming, playing basketball, and drawing. I am going to be co-teach with Mrs.
Vanessa this school year. I will be teaching 2nd grade Math, and Science. I am very excited to
have your children in my classroom!
As your child’s 2nd grade teacher, I promise to always put the best interest of your child first,
keep you informed about their work and classroom activities, and always welcome your input
and support. As the year progresses, I encourage you to contact me at the school office, write
me a note, call or text (682-552-0684) or email me at nguyene@ndaacademy.org if at
any time you would like to speak to me. (I would greatly appreciate if phone calls and/or texts
would be made before 5:00pm.) I will also be sending home newsletters informing you of dates,
classroom information, and reminders, etc.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and working with you and your child this year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Ella Nguyen Burgos
