represent particular social groups?
3. GENDER
My magazine are filled with light and girly colours such as yellow, pink, red and
purple- this makes the magazine look more girly the boyish.
The pictures are rough because the boys in the picture is masculine dressed and
maintains brick wall as background – this makes the magazine fit for boys too, at
least this issue.

Here is another example from
the magazine «The Source», this
is an example on a rough front
cover which contains masculine
clothes and colours, and a boyish
background.
4. AGE
My magazine or this issue contains rappers, that are young boys. Therefor the
magazine catch the attention to young people. And the colours are friendly but still
strong, so young people will find the magazine more interesting, than what adults
would, because adults may like more calm colours.
My magazine contains stories that fits more for young adults.
Here is an example from my
magazine. It’s to examples of two
stories which fits more for young
adults. Stories like fashion and
concerts – these are typical
teenage stories.
5. SOCIAL GROUPS
On my pictures the boys wears caps and gangster clothes, therefor I can say that the
magazine fits hip hop fans.
Since all the stories except the interview of “The elements” are girly and about other R&B
stars , would I say the magazine also fits R&B fans.
I have used strong colours and the stories my magazine contains, are about concerts and
clothes and so on. So I think the magazine fits the people who likes to go to concerts with
cool clothes that fits the genre.
