  2. 2.  Zinc is a natural mineral found in common foods Oysters are found to have the highest amount of zinc per serving. Zinc is mostly commonly digested by eating red meat and poultry. However, it is also found in some seafood, cereal and dairy products.
  3. 3.  Zinc is involved in numerous aspects of the metabolism. It helps with the human immune system, DNA synthesis, and cells. It plays a vital role in growth and developmental functions in pregnant woman, children Immune System and adolescents. It is required for proper sense of taste and smell.   4. 4.  A deficiency is Zinc may cause : ◦ growth retardation ◦ loss of appetite ◦ impairment of immune functions. In most severe cases, zinc deficiency can cause ◦ hair loss ◦ constant diarrhea ◦ weight loss ◦ delayed healing of wounds.
  5. 5.  Fluorine is mostly ingested by humans when they drink water. Some traces of it are also found in foods such as seafood, cheese and Chinese tea.
  6. 6.  Humans benefit from the intake of fluorine because it helps with oral health. Fluorine prevents tooth decay and cavities and strengths the enamel. Being that Fluorine is beneficial to oral health, it is not uncommon to find it in toothpaste.
