The way I attractedmy audience withthe coverspecificallywasbyusinga verylarge title and
interestingphotography.Anyvisible skinonKnight Six,the model onthe cover, hasbeenedited to
be black andwhite.Hismaskand shirtstill have some colouronthemhowever.Thisgivesoff an
interestinglookingaesthetic,andwill draw people in.Knightonthe coverlooksverystrikingwithhis
boldmaskagainstthe brighterbackground. Justbelow the titleisthe PARENTALADVISORYEXPLICIT
CONTENTbadge.People are generallydrawntothislogo.The orange square inthe top rightcorner
isa reference tothe coverof MadvillainybyMadvillain(MFDOOMandMadlib).The keeneye and
fan of indie hip-hopwouldrecognize thissmalldetail.
The interviewwithKnightSix inthe double page spread,the interviewerreferencesthe firstline in
the famousEminemsong“Lose Yourself;”“Palmssweaty,kneesweak,armswere heavy.”Fansof
hip-hopwoulddefinitelyrecognizethisreference.The magazine treatsthe audience assmart
enoughtounderstandthese kindsof things.The photographof KnightSix atthe top showshim
givingthe camerathe finger.Thisisto show he doesn’tcare much for picturesbeingtakenof him.
