3. Phase 1: Pre-immersion:
This phase regards the identification of
the community where the students will be
immersed at. Trainees, School and
community should be prepared and
informed.
4. Factor to be considered are:
1. Community must belong to the deprived, depressed and
underprivileged (DDU).
2.Willingness and support of the local partners to the
project.
3.Anticipated and demand falls within the resources of the
students.
4.Places that is not saturated by other agencies.
5.Stable peace and order and accessibility.

7. Phase 3: Community Integration
Community integration enables participants
to have a direct contact and become involved
in local environment. The involvement of
trainees is more personal which help them to
more concerned with the problems/issues.

9. Phase 4: Community Needs Assessment
Needs Assessment is a systematic process of identifying and
evaluating specific needs of a group or community. This will help identify
what project or program to be given.

b.Identify the rank of problems, issues and opportunities
according to the urgent or importance
c.Gather opinion from the people in determining policies,
goals and priorities

13. Phase 5: Program /Project Implementation
The actual execution of the plan is called project /program
implementation. The implementation phase involves putting
the project plan into action.
14. Phase 6: Termination of Project
Project termination is the last stage of managing the project, and
occurs after the implementation phase has ended. Acceptance testing has
been carried out, and the project deliverables have been handed over to
the community/client.
