2. Client: Start Charlotte
Objective: To reach an audience of freelancers and businesspeople
that would be interested in attending Start Charlotte’s Open House
in early March.
Tactic: Reached out to LinkedIn network and created a press
release for Start Charlotte and sent out to Charlotte Observer.
Result: Start Charlotte’s open house was on the front page of the
social media news section in the Charlotte Observer. At the night
of the Open House, close to 45 percent of the attendees said they
came because of the news coverage.
3. Client: JDW: The Charlotte Agency
Objective: To establish credibility for the agency, it was
required that Dwayne, the president, must be established
and recognized as a subject matter expert (SME).
Tactic: Dwayne began searching for interviews, writing and
commenting on blogs, and created subject matter collateral
to be placed in strategic areas.
Result: Dwayne has been quoted in trade magazines like
Fast Company, Brandweek, Demodirt and Examiner, been
interviewed by organizations like Forrester Research and has
had articles featured by Associated Content.
