5. Classical Print
• This is also known as ethnic or traditional
print.in this print ,classical motives or
traditional art work or traditional collection's
are used as mango ,elephant with the
chariots, Old musical instruments etc. The
culture of any particular place can also be
considered such as tie &dye, batik, blocks of
Rajasthan etc.

7. Floral Print
• It has the print of varieties of Flowers either
in bunch or single spotted ,huge or small ,
combination of leaves and other addings.

9. Stripes Print
One would have been different types on the garment
but would not have noticed its classifications. We
have many types of stripes for intense.

11. 1. Pin Stripes
• These are stripes which is printed lines at
hairy distance and mostly two or three
colours are used including the background.

13. 2. Zigzag Stripes
• It can come in horizontal and vertical but in
the shape of Zigzag.

14. 3. Spiral stripes -
• this print looks like a stretched string at
medium pressure this can either be vertical
or horizontal .

15. 4. Zebra stripes -
• in this is stripe only two colours are used
and mostly neutral colour scheme is seen
.This is stripes are placed at equidistance. It
is no way related with the texture of zebra
skin. The width of each stripe will be not hey
more than 1.0 centimetres .

16. 5. Curved stripes -
• This print has the effect of a wave following
either vertical horizontal .

17. 6. Toothpaste strips
• This stripe can be multi-coloured and the
distance can vary, but the width of each
stripe should be 0.5 to 1.5 centimetres the
weight of the toothpaste .

• The width of this print starts from 3.5
centimetre and it can be compound stripe
too .

vertical stripes , horizontally
which is called horizontal
stripe and diagonally for the
diagonal stripes .

20. Checks Print -
• Checks are the Prints ,which is got by
intersecting horizontal and vertical lines at
90 degree angles. there are basically 4 types
of checks such as plaids, madras check,
Bombay check and Oxford check .

21. Dots Print
• The dots are spots either design or plain and
comes in all colours of choice . The dots are
basically divided Into three types as big dot
,small dots and polka dots .
• big dots are dots which has the radius of 3 to
10 centimetres .Some are plain and mostly
printed.
• small dots are dots hey which are horizontally
placed .it can be very from pin dot to radius of
1.5 centimetres .
• polka dots is a mixture of big and small dots
together usually round or Oval shaped with
designed filling .

23. Geometrical Print-
This is the print where all the geometrical
instrument design are created and the
mathematical signs are used such as plus
,Minus, multiplication ,division etc. there is no
prescribed colour combination .

25. Directional Print -
• Any print which is designed Directionally
Either horizontal vertical or diagonal is called
the directional print .it's feature is to follow
the direction of the first one .this type of
print is used in Egyptian dresses mostly .

28. Self Print -
• Any design which has to be
printed should be of the same
shades of the background colour .

30. Computer Print-
• the design of the print is taken
from computer graphic designs
and video games . can be used for
the children and teenagers .

32. Wild Print-
• The effect of the forest with or
without animals ,nature are used
in this print .mostly dull colours
are used . example :Camouflage
Fabric which is used in the
uniform of the military man at
war .
