feet. Responsible for budget and cost breakouts for each house constructed. Met all requirements
for timeline of homes being constructed and of site inspectors.
While meeting with senior management concerning progress of project. I remained poised and
maintained perspective, when challenged with critical path schedules, deadlines, milestones, and
spreadsheets on profit and loss.
Expert knowledge in proposals, submittals, bids, estimating, spreadsheets,purchasing programs,
planning and scheduling, cost and technical analysis, conflict resolution, and contracts.
Turned around a project in dire straits due to the original manager’s departure. Evaluated project
planning and progress to that point reassigned and added personnel as needed and created a team-
based atmosphere that led to successfulproject completion.
Served as Senior Construction Manager and duties included mentoring and tutoring project teams
of up to 6 Superintendents. Provided assignments of increased responsibility along with periodic
training exercises to increase their knowledge database.
Significantly improved bid process efficiencies while reducing scope changes through
development of a new systematic color –coded proposal tool with handout distributed to every
potential subcontractor. Use of this new tool virtually eliminated the possibility of overlooking
important details during the bid process.
2. Researched,created and designed a tailored project presentation to improve building efficiencies,
by improving scheduling of client meetings, conducting needs assessment,explaining design
concerns and cost-effective options, estimating, and managed the projects from start to finish.
While serving as Safety Director, developed safety campaigns, safety systems, policies, and
procedures. Trained employees and subcontractors on rules and regulation, certified employees in
first aid/CPR. Conducted safety inspections and investigated violations to ensure safety
procedures are being followed and counseled managers and subcontractors accordingly.
Managed all aspects of a restaurant including development of business and marketing plans,
recruitment, hiring and training of staff, budgeting, P&L,scheduling work and activities,
