OBJECTIVES
Project and Maintenance Manager where 22 years of experience in the facility management
maintenance, repair and operation of a variety of mechanical and electrical pumping, heating,
air conditioning, ventilating and related plant machinery of a government & private
establishment, hospital, industrial, production and commercial building will add value to
operations. PMP. MS Project. Budgeting. Planning.
Supervise proposals preparation by providing necessary inputs to ensure improved estimation by
using market intelligence, proactive approach and client relations and leading the contracts
negotiations resulting in improved deals.Develop and implement business plans to identify and
accomplish short-term and long-term objectives of Plant Maintenance & Shutdowns. Provide
active support to overseas Business Area's for smooth running of Plant Maintenance &
Shutdowns business. Ensure that feedback from client is properly collected and incorporated as
per standard operating procedure and a proper response is given to client's queries and
complaints to meet contractual commitments and client's expectations. Update and comply
with Company's policies addressed in Management Manual, Quality, HSE, Core and Operating
Values and ensures implementation of Company's Quality Management Systems at Site. Also
Develops, Implements and maintains project specific Quality Plan that meet all internal and
external commitments. Ensure forward planning on all aspects of the projects during pre-
execution phase and maintain management focus on the project schedule during
implementation for enhanced profitability. Monitor project costs and initiate corrective actions
to achieve budgeted profitability of the department.

• B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering from University of Jordan in 1994.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities.
• Analyze all the Center’s utilities systems, and other factors.
• Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid
sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.
• Develops long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements and
documentation for facility.
• Formulates and coordinates program specifications, requirements for proposals and
contracts, and associated documents.
• Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.
• Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established
specifications.
• Reviews real estate contracts for compliance with government specifications and
suitability for occupancy.
• Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communication
services.
• Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment
installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Chaired all technical committees for construction and MEP projects for the CTC
tenders.
• Member of many major committees in KHCC:
o Safety and environment committee chairs by COO.
o Infection control program committee.
o Solar farm technical committee chaired by DG,CEO.
o Presence Master planning committee for section projects.
o Presence feasibility study committee for section projects.
• Participating technical decision for the main extension of King Hussein Cancer
Center project ( area building of 88,000 m2 )

Contribute towards formulation of annual business plans, and policies and
procedures of the Facilities & Maintenance Department.
Develop the annual budget for the Engineering Support Services section for
discussion and approval of the COO.
Ensure maintenance of highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and
integrity in provision of the services in Engineering Support Services.
Oversee and analyze the preparation of manpower and budgets for the
section and recommend them to the CEO and COO for approval.
Assist the COO in developing and directing the setting of performance targets
for the department and ensure that objectives reflect the Organizational
business strategies and directions.

Review and analyze the Maint. system control room operations and process
to ensure an efficient service delivery to the Corporation
Ensure an appropriate system and processes is in place to control the
Maintenance system activities
Oversee the Procurement Engineering functions and the store activities
Ensure there is an adequate stock in the store for all maintenance activities.
Monitor and ensure that all activities and operations are in accordance with
applicable standards and contractual obligations and report any discrepancies
to the Manager of Facilities & Maintenance.
Ensure that there is a proper system to manage the inventory of all the locks
and keys in the Corporation
Ensure that appropriate security measures are available in managing the
locks and keys in the Corporation
Supervise the CAD operators and review the designs prepared by them

Provide operational direction to subordinates regarding the various aspects of
engineering work activities to ensure professional and timely delivery of
services & activities.
Supervise and monitor performance of assigned contractors as well as
engineers and technical staff to execute projects.
Liaise and coordinate with Project Manager to ensure that the work activities,
projects and operations are running smoothly without any hindrances.
Coordinate with contractors for contract value variations, work order
certification, interim valuations and timely fund collection.
The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as
directed.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
• From Nov. 2008 until now working in The King Hussein Cancer
Center as a Maintenance Manager. All operation & maintenance
team(electrical, mechanical and civil) in the hospital are directly
under my supervision for all works, maintains and repairs a wide
variety of pumping, heating, ventilating, air conditioning,
refrigeration, medical gases and auxiliary plant machinery and
equipment. And also operating repairs and adjustments to
electric motors, boilers, pumps, compressors, alarm systems,
switchboards, controls, elevators, institutional equipment and
other machinery; and supervise the activities of all of
subordinates engaged in such work; and performs other related
duties as required. Responsibility for carrying out and explaining
established plant operations, methods and procedures;
maintaining and preparing routine plant records and reports, and
supervision of all renovations and projects at the center.
• From July 2005 to NOV 2008 working in The Arabic Medical
Center as a Maintenance Manager. All operation & maintenance
team (electrical, mechanical and civil) in the hospital are directly
under my supervision for all works.
• From NOV. 2001 to July 2005 working in Grouping Construction
as a project manager my job deals with :
- Put all the plans needed for the projects of construction villas,
buildings, fencing & steel structures.
- supervising & managing all civil works electrical works,
supplying water , drainage and air –conditioning works , and
deals & arrange between all subcontractors to do their job
smoothly
• From Oct. 1997 to Oct. 2001 working in AL-ARZ for
Solar Energy Co. as sales Engineer dealing with:
- Design, fabrication & sales of solar & electric water heaters.
- Managing & supervising the workshop of fabrication.
Marketing for the products in the Gulf especially the UAE.
• From APR. 1994 To OCT. 1997 working in the Arab
Aluminum industry Co .in Amman –Jordan as a Mechanical Engineer
dealing with:
- maintenance of all factories’ machinery & mechanical
equipments
- Carrying out periodic preventive maintenance for the machines
- Supervising the product lines & organizing the concerned
workmanship
- Installation & commissioning of mechanical system such as Air

Develop the annual budget for the Engineering Support Services section for discussion and approval of the COO. Ensure maintenance of highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in provision of the services in Engineering Support Services. Oversee and analyze the preparation of manpower and budgets for the section and recommend them to the CEO and COO for approval. And also operating repairs and adjustments to electric motors, boilers, pumps, compressors, alarm systems, switchboards, controls, elevators, institutional equipment and other machinery; and supervise the activities of all of subordinates engaged in such work; and performs other related duties as required.
