Comparing My Finished Product Design to Original Plan Using Photoshop
1. Task 11
How does your finished product compare to your design?
My finished product looks a lot different to the original planned design. This is
because when I was making it I found it more sensible to do certain things that
actually changed the appearance of my magazine cover.
How has technology helped you turn your product into a real product?
I have used an apple mac computer to access the program photoshop, the program
has helped me a lot with things like effects and fonts etc. if I did not have this
program then my finished product would not nearly look as professional.
Do you feel that your product is suitable for your target audience?
Yes I do, because it has everything that my target audience would find appealing in a
magazine. It has the rock fonts, the blood dripping down from the title which
indicates that it is linked to heavy rock.
Describe two challenges you have overcome?
One of the challenges I had to overcome was that I had a very limited time to do the
tasks and actually complete the finished product. Another challenge I overcame was
that I had a lot of distractions whilst trying to complete tasks, but I overcame them
and got the tasks done.
Describe the technical skills you have gained?
During this unit I have learnt to use an apple mac computer and how to use things
like photoshop, which I would not have been able to do before this unit.
