resources, and increasing profitability on low performance contracts. This was a 60-day initiative resulting in a +10% net
reduction in operating expenses.
 Established framework for new business units for telecommunications products and services within broader holding group
with the objective of expanding the company’s footprint into the GCC states.
 Completed contract negotiations and mobilization for new Fiber-to-the-Home marketing and sales business as a revenue
share partnership with STC valued at more than 60 Million SR annually in net revenue.

 Established Sales & Marketing company “Nitaq” under the Aziam holding group. Signed the first contract with STC as an

Key results:
 Headed the establishment of 2.5G GSM operator Vietnamobile – joint venture of Hanoi Telecom and Hutchison
Whampoa.
 Mobilized nationwide operational setup of NOC, Field Services, Planning & Design, Optimization, and Engineering

 Managed a global Managed Services organization responsible for the development and deployment of Ericsson
Managed Services OSS tools and processes (MSDP & MSTOP) used in the global Managed Services business.
 Responsible for the development evolution of the MSDP and MSTOP blueprints under a 80M Euro annual budget.
 As one of the business owners under the Ericsson Managed Services Centers of Excellence (CoE) program,

Services Operations Practice (MSTOP) process. This is a full suite of integrated Network Management Systems
based on FCAPS methodologies and implemented according to eTOM and ITIL process frameworks.
 Responsible for forecasting global CAPEX/OPEX needs for all Managed Services infrastructure, consolidation, and
investment areas for tools an process capabilities.

 Managed a team of 40 telecommunications engineers covering functional areas: Data communications, Server

 As a senior O&M advisor to Business Unit Global Services, assisted in the development of Ericsson’s Managed
Services delivery blueprint under program Summit. Led the solution and vendor selection process teams for the

Managed Services OSS tools and processes (MSDP & MSTOP) used in the global Managed Services business.  Responsible for the development evolution of the MSDP and MSTOP blueprints under a 80M Euro annual budget.  As one of the business owners under the Ericsson Managed Services Centers of Excellence (CoE) program, deployed MSDP and MSTOP under more than 120 projects between 2006 – 2008 with an average annual budget of more than 200M Euro.  Managed a team of four Directors responsible for design, development, deployment, and quality assurance of all Ericsson Managed Services tools and process programs with resource centers in Sweden, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, USA, and India.  Responsible for the design and implementation of the Managed Services Delivery Platform (MSDP) and Managed Services Operations Practice (MSTOP) process.
