2. DESCRIPTION:
Key points about Family, School, work and how
these factors affect the teaching-learning
process on children and adolescents.
3. FAMILY
Families are the center of society, their role is the most
crucial in the children development.
They are the strongest influence while children grow up.
By stablishing values, security, stability,
example and education into a home, there
are more possibilities that those kids
succeed in life.
A caring and encouraging atmosphere will
give confidence and create a better
communication, so an improvement in the
solution of problems.
Economical stability also avoids some
problems just like children labor.
4. SCHOOLANDWORK
Children education is a universal right, but given certain
conditions it makes impossible that this right get being respected.
Although education is the most important instrument to eliminate
any kind of children labor, there is still a lot of struggling to go
through.
Children labor is a problem that occurs around the
world especially in poor communities where
obtaining food is considered more important than
study. On the other hand children exploitation or
forced labor also happens given by some of this
social conditions:
Poverty and social exclusion
Discrimination
Lack of adequate social protection
Lack of educational opportunities
5. How this factors affect the teaching-learning
process on children and adolescents?
Net primary enrollment ratios decreasing.
Children labor affects their attendance to
schools.
Economy activity of children between 7-
14 years has a correlation of lack of
literacy of adults.
Rural working children are the most
affected.
Work leave little time left for studying.
Education performance is notably deteriorated.
Lack of education strengthen poverty because it
limits chances of labor improvement
