TKO Method for Writing a Body Paragraph: TKO stands for Topic sentence, Knowledges and support, and Overall statement. This is a method I have created and am proud to say has been successful in helping me to teach students how to write body paragraph for their essays.

4. Model Body Paragraph
• Ultimate Warrior’s road to greatness was one of hard work
and determination. He trained 14 hours each day, lifting
weights and practicing wrestling moves with friends and
trainers. Secondly, he fought with integrity. When other
wrestlers would cheat him in a match, he would accept a
lost before cheating to overcome his opponents; still, he
almost always won against cheating opponents. Thirdly, he
was persistent in his fights. In a championship match, a
thick flag pole was whipped through the air and broken
across his stomach; yet, he went fought through it and won
the match, becoming the champion of the Worldwide
Wrestling Federation. Because of these things, Ultimate
Warrior went on to become one of the greatest wrestlers
ever.
