My Role Model In School
Growing up, I had supportive but strict parents and three older siblings to use as my role models. When I say my parents are strict, it stems from
the fact that my dad is a Baptist pastor. Given that my dad is a pastor; my parents expected me and my siblings to go to school, church, and
participate in extracurricular activities before or after school. So, I didn't miss school unless I had to, I went to church every Sunday and I
participated in fellowship of Christian athletes and band. My Sunday school teachers expected that I would have all my bible verses memorized
ahead of time in AWANA. My band director expected that I had practiced a lot for auditions and that I would get first chair because he knew my
parents made me practice. Being...show more content...
All in all, I had a great support system during my childhood which has helped shape me into who I am today, a goodie little two shoes, some would
say. Now that I am almost entirely independent from my parents, I still enjoy things that I enjoyed as a child such as going to church, spending time
outside and seeing my family. However, I also enjoy things I didn't experience growing up such as playing pool, traveling to places of my choice, or
volunteering at places of my choice such as a nursing home. I have been working at an assisted living facility for two years now and I love
working in geriatrics. I never would have known that as a child because I didn't experience volunteering with elderly people. My grandparents were
the only elderly people I had contact with and while they were awesome, just the two of them couldn't fuel my decision to work in geriatrics. I
needed to experience being around a variety of elderly people because not all of them are as kind, patient and positive as my grandparents. I feel that I
have my own identity now that I can choose how I want to spend my free time. While my beliefs and values may be similar to what my parents
instilled in me at a young age, they have become my own set of beliefs that define me. People always ask me what I want to do when I am done with
school. Right now the answer seems pretty straight

Life as a Role Model
"Success isn't about how much money you make, it's about the difference you make in people's lives" –Michelle Obama. I aspire to inspire. Being a
role model for my little sister has not only made me stronger, smarter, and wiser, but it has made me more of a woman. Every little girl needs awoman
to look up to and to learn from. A role model is someone who can teach and learn. By being a teacher to my little sister, I have not only taught her, I
have learned from her. In 2009, my life changed. The most beautiful little girl was born, my little sister, Kara. The things that I have learned and
continue to learn from her are endless and she has changed who I am as a person, even more so, a friend.
Growing up ten years older than my little sister, caused me to mature fast. I was the one who she was going to look up to for the rest of her life.
Often times I have been responsible for her. I have had to drop her off at piano, get her ready for cheer practice, and take her to church. The list is
never ending. When she was born, I became very motherly and acted like a second mom to her. Having her in my life made me want to be a role
model to not only children, but people in general. Growing up around a little girl, I had to always watch what I said and did. I knew that everything I
would do, she would want to do too. Therefore, I was very hesitant of my words and my actions, not only when I talked around my little

My Role Model Essay
When growing up, there is always someone there for you to look up too. From your guardians, or even your older siblings or classmates. You start
learning from those you look at and want to be like them. These people change; as does your life when you age. I have many people who inspire me
since you can't just have a sole person. The ones who inspire me truly are my own peers and friends.
My view of role models has changed greatly from when I was younger. When I was little I wanted to be like my parents and like Batman and
celebrities. Now I see people as their own inspirations. One of my role models I met at a convention. She was an artist and had an amazing display of
artworks. I didn't even learn her name , but I did read her note....show more content...
These are the examples that I am going to be when I get there and when they are working at their best, I feel the need to do the same. Sure they are not
the perfect role models and they make many mistakes, but that is what makes them great. They fall, fail, and make mistakes, but they recognize those
flaws and mistakes and take responsibility for them, as well as doing better the next time; showing how you can still be a good person and do great
things even if you mess up. You just need to learn from those mistakes.
The ones who are a large parts of my goals are my friends and peers. They isnpire me to do the things I love and achieve their feets as well. Even
when they are faced with challenges they are determined enough to overcome them and admit to the flaws they wear like battle scars. They are the
people I am growing up with and those who are already starting their next chapter. I see them and want to be like them. Strong and independent, but
humble enough to know that they will need help. Even with them being the biggest inspiration, it is hard to choose a soul inspiration. I am
inspired by my environment to be a better person; as well as by myself. I am inspired by all the people who try to do good and be their own kind of
hero. That way, I can use all of them to be the best person I can be. When I grow up, these are the people I will have to take the place of, but that's not
what it is about. The goal is to surpass all the good deeds today and do even

My Role Model Of Family Essay
From the time I was born to the present day, I have been surrounded by family. My family doesn't just consist of blood related family but includes
friendships that have become so close they have become part of my family over the years. To say that family is the basis of who I am would be an
understatement. To me, family can simply be a person that has come into my life and stood by my side through the good times and bad times. My
family has always been there for me and they've supported my every decision. They have become my compass in life and direct me in the path I
should take. Not only do they cheer me on and are supportive for my successful moments and greatest accomplishments but they are also not afraid to
be honest and tell me when I'm doing something wrong. Even at my toughest times and weakest moments, they are always willing to help, especially
to pick me up if I fall.
Since childhood, my brother has been my role model. When my brother started playing soccer, I had to play because he was playing. We both
played on the same team for a few years with a family friend as our coach. Because of our age difference, my brother and I fought a lot. Deciding I
want to be on the same team as him, I didn't help our relationship much but added to the arguments. We argued about the little things like, telling the
other to get out of the bathroom or out of their room, or fighting over who gets to watch what show on TV, to eating all the ice cream then blaming the
other for it.

Role models in the media are also essential for young people. These are idols, actors, athletes, authors, politicians, revolutionaries or any other
person who is known because of their fame. Media role models have a high influence over young people because they are often placed on a
pedestal, and worshipped like gods. It is important for youth to be wary of negative media role models because they may glamorize truly wrong
values. An example of this is seen if we look at Paris Hilton. She lives a fascinating and alluring lifestyle, yet was convicted for driving under the
influence of alcohol. Because of her, many other young girls may believe that drinking and driving is okay, or even cool. Role models in the media
are important because of the widespread effect they have on youth all over the world.
The influence that role models have over young people is vast and great. Role models can affect a young person's beliefs, or possibly change their
entire outlook on life. Young people may want to imitate the desirable traits they see in role models. Role models can also have an effect on one's
decision–making process. The choices a young person makes in life are directly associated with his or her

My Role Of A Role Model In Life
Life is said to be a mystery, but it can be understandable when people learn from those that have gone ahead of them in life. A role model is someone
people look unto as an example to be imitated to have a better life. However, people have to be careful of the kind of choice they make in life. I believe
the choice of a role model any rational human should make must be a positive/good role model. Such role model is always positive, well composed
and have full self–confidence. I wake up every day to think about my impact on earth so far, and I live the rest of the day to try to make impact. My
aspiration of becoming a positive role model is deemed important to me for some reasons. First, my heart hurts whenever I see a scattered life. For

My Moral: I know achieving my goal in life demands a lot which includes; showing respect and concern for others, and I need to humble myself
because no one is perfect, I know I need to be accountable in all I do, I don't do to others what I don't want others to do to me, I don't have extramarital
affair – I am able to do that by self–control, I take being constantly truthful serious, no one would ever believe a habitual liar even when he says the
truth. I am sure, putting these into consideration in my life, will take me to my greater height of becoming a positive role model.
My Values: I am so passionate to make the whole world positive and I know the positivism has to begin with me. My confidence is based on the
people I inspire; therefore, I am conscious of whatever I do because people are looking at me to be made their role model. Apart from being positive, I
value reliability, loyalty, seriousness in all I do, commitment, open–mindedness, consistency, honesty, innovation, creativity, good humor, compassion,
motivation, respect, courage, perseverance, patriotism, service to others, and education: it is expedient that I give myself to more studies; it is said

Manager as a Role Model
Being a manager comes with a lot of responsibilities and not everyone can handle such a pressure of being a leader. It is not necessary that a hard
working individual with a lot of experience can be a good leader, as sometimes a good leader may not be competitive as some of the employees. As
any company's manager comes with many responsibilities including hiring, terminating, scheduling, inventory, supervising and etc. A supervisor shall

However, if someone, breaks the rule and constantly do so should be warned and dealt with accordingly. For example; one of my employee was
not producing and was taking long breaks and due to that I had to visit and talk to him. I did not want to be harsh and cruel with him so I decided
to approach him differently. I went to see him and asked him to sit down. I start by asking him the reason why am I seeing him? Apparently he
knew the reason, but I did not wanted to be tough, so I asked him, how is his personal life, and what can I do to help him. Indeed, he had some
personal issues which he was dealing with and because of that it was reflecting his job duties. Indeed, I also reflected on his long breaks which
needs to cut down to normal. Also, if he needs any help he can feel free to discuss with me. Also, I assured him my support as long as he follows
the company's guidelines which he did. My biggest challenge was how can I overcome this hurdle with him and makes him produce. Afterwards, he
became one of my top producer and indeed became a supervisor. Managers should know how to take the best out of their employees by leading with
example. By all means, managers and senior individuals should be the role models. Therefore, if a manager want to improve and support its
employees' performance, he shall model that behavior himself first. Indeed, regular feedback to employees help them understand where they stand in
terms of expectation. Also, praising employees will help

My Role Model In My Life
Most life changing events happen with someone whom you truly trust. It is easy to ignore people, withdraw, and not form relationships built on love
and reliance. I have truly grown closer to my role model in my life. Matt Harp, my role model, is a man of truth, integrity, love, selflessness, and
compassion. Many different times he surprised me with how he acted, spoke and thought. I clearly saw the Lord lead his life, and his actions revealed
as much. I wanted to follow his example. He led me through junior high, what was definitely the toughest part of my life. Looking back, I can only
imagine what would have happened in my life if I had not grown to trust this honorable man. There are many different times where Matt taught me
a life lesson, but these three are the most prominent. He taught me how to be unique, be yourself, always be willing to share, and to never give up,
even when you are tired. As a groovy guy, my small group leader always wore what the coolest clothes. I loved to talk to him about it. I said "I love
your style. Where do you buy your clothes?" Many different times, I wore similar clothes to him. I started wearing unique socks, colored jeans, and
many other things. He took more notice than I realized. One day he took me aside and said "You don't have to live exactly like someone else, you
just need to be you." He insisted, saying "don't just copy me because you like the way that I dress, find your own groove." I took these small
statements to heart.

I Am A Role Model
Growing up with my little brother, Harrison, has been such a blessing to me and my parents. Without him my family would not function the same
way we do now. We spend a lot of time together, go to the mall, go to the park, have lunch dates, play video games, and sometimes we go to each
other's games to cheer one another on. We have come a long way compared to how we used to act towards each other. Growing up with him was
extremely challenging considering he followed, mocked, teased, judged, tattled, physically abused, and harassed me. Over the past fifteen years,
Harrison and I have really grown closer because of all the arguing and I honestly believe that this is what brought us together. This may sound odd
and extraordinary but not only is he my brother, he's also one of my best friends. Over the past fifteen years I 've learned that I am a role model to
Harrison and that he looks up to me. When Harrison was five he would follow me all around the house and it would bug the crap out of me. If I sat
a certain way in a chair, went outside to ride a bike, watched T.V., he was right beside me the whole time. We would fight over it all the time and
my mom finally made me realize the he really looks up to me and wants to be just like me. After I figured that out I didn 't mind it as much but it still
got really annoying at times because I just wasn 't used to someone doing every single thing I did. Harrison was always that little kid where every

Athletes as Role Models Essay
True role models are those who possess the qualities that we would like to have. Role models are those who have affected us in ways that influence
us to be better people. They are people who others imitate, emulate or look to for guidance. There are good role models who inspire greatness in
others and bad role models who are bad influences. There are even anti–role models, pegged by the media as "bad girls" or "bad boys" who serve as
good examples of what not to do if you want to become a successful, respected person. With the majority of my time spent as an athlete throughout
high school and college, I believe athletes should pose as role models.

Many times we find that young people look up to athletes. There are countless community centers that offer different athletic programs. Many times
there are young people with endless talent and ability, striving to be just like their favorite athletes. There are a number of good athletes that display
an incredible amount of perseverance in their everyday lives. This alone serves as inspiration to young people.

Role Models Of A Good Role Model
1)A role model is "a person whose behavior, example, or success is or can be emulated by others, especially by younger people."("the definition of
role model", 2016). A good role model has to demonstrate multiple qualities . They are people who other employees look to in times of crisis and
for support as well. Role models have to lead by example and demonstrate abilities that reflect what the organization requires of the employees. The
status of role models is much like the status of celebrities where each move they make, be it professional or in social context is judged, but unlike
celebrities the role models actions also impact the reputation of their organization. A good role model 's qualities are many but I personally have
nine that i want to discuss and believe are essential. These qualities are;" Optimism, Confidence, Hard work, Uniqueness, Communication,
Respect, Knowledge, Well Rounded and Empathy." (Western, 2016) Firstly i believe if i were a role model i would want to be optimistic. I
would like to explore new opportunities as well as explore new horizons and to challenge myself to achieve things others think impossible. This
encourages employees at work and in life. Carrying oneself with confidence says a lot about a person. It makes you look sure of yourself when
dealing with tasks knowing that you can and will complete it. This rubs off on employees as well. Success without hard work is impossible. I believe
if you want others to work hard for you, you

What Is A Role Model
A Role Model Have you ever thought that if one tiny thing did not happen in your life, how much different you would be, how much one little
detail could change who you are as a person? For example, if I had never played soccer then I could have become a high school drop out, for all we
know. It got me thinking, how eternally grateful I am to the person who introduced me to soccer, my dad. I remember being a young kid with no
responsibilities and no worries, always looking up to my dad so much. Like most kids, my dad was my first idol. I wanted to be like him in so many

the more soccer I seemed to play, and the more I played, the more I was out there looking up to my dad. I was not the only one though, my younger
brother, who is 3 years younger than me had started to go through the same phase. He started joining my dad and I when we would go out and kick
the ball and at first I thought it was probably because he had nothing else to do, I had not even considered the thought that he wanted to be like my
dad too. We would go out as a group and kick the soccer ball and eventually on the days that my dad was "busy" we started to out outside, just the
two of us. Before I even knew what happened it became a regular thing, to go out and kick the ball with my brother instead of my father, not long
after that I began to notice changes in how my brother acted. He started to act like me, dress like me, he even picked up my behavioral issues, and for
a short time he even began to pick up my stuttering problem. I think it was around that time when it

What Makes A Good Role Model?
1. What makes a good role model and how can I ensure that I act as a role model for employees I supervise? It is said that role models in work
places are no different to those elsewhere. In families, parents are role models. Managers are role models in the work place. They too, set an
example. In work places, there are differences. It is suggested that other employees will only look to those whose work is better than their own,
and show traits that they want to emulate. One way that workplace role model does this, is to work to standards that are consistent with the values
of their employer. In addition, role models are consistent in how they display these standards. How could I act as a good role model for the people
I am in charge of? In addressing these questions, attitude and behaviour need to be considered. Firstly, I would strive to treat others well, at all
times, and in all circumstances. I would strive for professionalism in all my dealings with people. This can be a challenge. Some customers can be
rude, and extremely demanding. By modelling this standard, I would hope that my staff would follow the example that I set for them. What are the
traits of a good leader? How can these traits be developed? It is said that staff will see their managers as leaders, and role models that they want to
emulate, if they have these traits: 1.They have a positive attitude 2.They show enthusiasm in their work, and are involved 3.Acceept responsibility
4.They

How would I ensure that my work goals and plans reflect the organisation's goals and plans?
To ensure that my work goals and plans reflect the organisation's goals and plans, first I would identify what the organisation's goals and plans are.
The identification can be done by examining the organisation's strategic and operational plans. Strategic plans sent out an organisation's goals or
what it hopes to achieve over a specified period of time, usually three or five years. Operational plans also focus on an organisation's goals. Unlike
strategic plans, they focus on a shorter period of time, often just one year and they tend to be more detailed and outline exactly what each work unit
needs to achieve in any given year. Besides examining the organisation's strategic and operational plans which can be time consuming, another way to
find out about the vision and strategic direction of the organisation is to consult a manager or a supervisor. In particular, ask them to explain what the
goals for the organisation are with facts and figures. Tell the manager or supervisor what tasks I can be doing that will help the team.
How would I ensure that I meet my job responsibilities?
To ensure that I meet my job responsibilities, I would undertake formal performance evaluations which provide opportunities for me to assess my work
in collaboration with the managers or supervisors who are conducting the evaluations. Another useful means to find out whether my work is meeting

Nelson Mandela As A Good Role Model
Many of the world's notorious, big–named and noted stars ranging from superstars to motivational moderators have come to lose most of their luxuries
to make the person there are today, one of the members has brought himself up on stage is Nelson Mandela. Nelson Mandela was born on July
18,1918 in Transkei, South Africa who was well–known as he came from a Tribal Leader of the Tembu Tribe making him a person of nobility and
pompous. Mandela is the rarest of leaders: A person whose influence and moral sway transcends the cause he is most associated with– in his case, the
appalling apartheid in South Africa, under which he suffered and was imprisoned for a heart–breaking 27 years. However, since the abolition of that
frightful regime and practice,...show more content...
Legend, we will never forget the things this man has taught us, and we will never truly comprehend the level of strength that it took for him to
endure many of his years! Thank you, Mandela," by Rihanna was an example of how Nelson Mandela has changed people including other celebrities
to be better people in life. What so much of the world actively hungers for in its public life, and so very rarely finds, is there in Nelson Mandela –
leadership with moral force. Are there any others in our day with such exceptional characteristics? I guess not. Nelson Mandela didn't just spread
awareness to stop racism and apartheid but also wanted to spread love and kindness among the people of the world as during the UN they asked
everyone to take 67 minutes out of their day to aid others. The reason the number 67 was chosen is because Mandela has spent 67 years of his life
servicing and helping humanity as a whole, shows how much respect the world gives to Nelson Mandela as not a hero but also as a role model. This
was a beautiful message to every person, especially young people, because it is meant to get people to think about others, take part in their
communities, and making this world a more humane place to

My Role as a Role Model and How it Shaped Me

  • 1. My Role Model In School Growing up, I had supportive but strict parents and three older siblings to use as my role models. When I say my parents are strict, it stems from the fact that my dad is a Baptist pastor. Given that my dad is a pastor; my parents expected me and my siblings to go to school, church, and participate in extracurricular activities before or after school. So, I didn't miss school unless I had to, I went to church every Sunday and I participated in fellowship of Christian athletes and band. My Sunday school teachers expected that I would have all my bible verses memorized ahead of time in AWANA. My band director expected that I had practiced a lot for auditions and that I would get first chair because he knew my parents made me practice. Being...show more content... All in all, I had a great support system during my childhood which has helped shape me into who I am today, a goodie little two shoes, some would say. Now that I am almost entirely independent from my parents, I still enjoy things that I enjoyed as a child such as going to church, spending time outside and seeing my family. However, I also enjoy things I didn't experience growing up such as playing pool, traveling to places of my choice, or volunteering at places of my choice such as a nursing home. I have been working at an assisted living facility for two years now and I love working in geriatrics. I never would have known that as a child because I didn't experience volunteering with elderly people. My grandparents were the only elderly people I had contact with and while they were awesome, just the two of them couldn't fuel my decision to work in geriatrics. I needed to experience being around a variety of elderly people because not all of them are as kind, patient and positive as my grandparents. I feel that I have my own identity now that I can choose how I want to spend my free time. While my beliefs and values may be similar to what my parents instilled in me at a young age, they have become my own set of beliefs that define me. People always ask me what I want to do when I am done with school. Right now the answer seems pretty straight Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Role Models Essay : My Life As A Role Model Life as a Role Model "Success isn't about how much money you make, it's about the difference you make in people's lives" –Michelle Obama. I aspire to inspire. Being a role model for my little sister has not only made me stronger, smarter, and wiser, but it has made me more of a woman. Every little girl needs awoman to look up to and to learn from. A role model is someone who can teach and learn. By being a teacher to my little sister, I have not only taught her, I have learned from her. In 2009, my life changed. The most beautiful little girl was born, my little sister, Kara. The things that I have learned and continue to learn from her are endless and she has changed who I am as a person, even more so, a friend. Growing up ten years older than my little sister, caused me to mature fast. I was the one who she was going to look up to for the rest of her life. Often times I have been responsible for her. I have had to drop her off at piano, get her ready for cheer practice, and take her to church. The list is never ending. When she was born, I became very motherly and acted like a second mom to her. Having her in my life made me want to be a role model to not only children, but people in general. Growing up around a little girl, I had to always watch what I said and did. I knew that everything I would do, she would want to do too. Therefore, I was very hesitant of my words and my actions, not only when I talked around my little Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My Role Model Essay When growing up, there is always someone there for you to look up too. From your guardians, or even your older siblings or classmates. You start learning from those you look at and want to be like them. These people change; as does your life when you age. I have many people who inspire me since you can't just have a sole person. The ones who inspire me truly are my own peers and friends. My view of role models has changed greatly from when I was younger. When I was little I wanted to be like my parents and like Batman and celebrities. Now I see people as their own inspirations. One of my role models I met at a convention. She was an artist and had an amazing display of artworks. I didn't even learn her name , but I did read her note....show more content... These are the examples that I am going to be when I get there and when they are working at their best, I feel the need to do the same. Sure they are not the perfect role models and they make many mistakes, but that is what makes them great. They fall, fail, and make mistakes, but they recognize those flaws and mistakes and take responsibility for them, as well as doing better the next time; showing how you can still be a good person and do great things even if you mess up. You just need to learn from those mistakes. The ones who are a large parts of my goals are my friends and peers. They isnpire me to do the things I love and achieve their feets as well. Even when they are faced with challenges they are determined enough to overcome them and admit to the flaws they wear like battle scars. They are the people I am growing up with and those who are already starting their next chapter. I see them and want to be like them. Strong and independent, but humble enough to know that they will need help. Even with them being the biggest inspiration, it is hard to choose a soul inspiration. I am inspired by my environment to be a better person; as well as by myself. I am inspired by all the people who try to do good and be their own kind of hero. That way, I can use all of them to be the best person I can be. When I grow up, these are the people I will have to take the place of, but that's not what it is about. The goal is to surpass all the good deeds today and do even Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Role Model Of Family Essay From the time I was born to the present day, I have been surrounded by family. My family doesn't just consist of blood related family but includes friendships that have become so close they have become part of my family over the years. To say that family is the basis of who I am would be an understatement. To me, family can simply be a person that has come into my life and stood by my side through the good times and bad times. My family has always been there for me and they've supported my every decision. They have become my compass in life and direct me in the path I should take. Not only do they cheer me on and are supportive for my successful moments and greatest accomplishments but they are also not afraid to be honest and tell me when I'm doing something wrong. Even at my toughest times and weakest moments, they are always willing to help, especially to pick me up if I fall. Since childhood, my brother has been my role model. When my brother started playing soccer, I had to play because he was playing. We both played on the same team for a few years with a family friend as our coach. Because of our age difference, my brother and I fought a lot. Deciding I want to be on the same team as him, I didn't help our relationship much but added to the arguments. We argued about the little things like, telling the other to get out of the bathroom or out of their room, or fighting over who gets to watch what show on TV, to eating all the ice cream then blaming the other for it. • 5. Role models have an astounding effect on the lives of young people in our society. A role model has the ability to shape the views, ideals, and actions of a young person. Role models help youth to discover how they wish to become in the future. The influence that role models have over young people is tremendous. It is important for role models to be positive and responsible in instilling good morals and values because future generations are directly dependent on the role models of today. By examining the influence of role models, role models in the community, and role models in the media, we will be able to determine the true effect that role models have on the lives of youth. Community role models are people that youngsters interact...show more content... For example, a role model who is a thief may cause a young person to believe that stealing is acceptable and tolerable, which it is not. Community role models definitely need to step up and take a more prevalent role in the lives youth. Role models in the media are also essential for young people. These are idols, actors, athletes, authors, politicians, revolutionaries or any other person who is known because of their fame. Media role models have a high influence over young people because they are often placed on a pedestal, and worshipped like gods. It is important for youth to be wary of negative media role models because they may glamorize truly wrong values. An example of this is seen if we look at Paris Hilton. She lives a fascinating and alluring lifestyle, yet was convicted for driving under the influence of alcohol. Because of her, many other young girls may believe that drinking and driving is okay, or even cool. Role models in the media are important because of the widespread effect they have on youth all over the world. The influence that role models have over young people is vast and great. Role models can affect a young person's beliefs, or possibly change their entire outlook on life. Young people may want to imitate the desirable traits they see in role models. Role models can also have an effect on one's decision–making process. The choices a young person makes in life are directly associated with his or her Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. My Role Of A Role Model In Life Life is said to be a mystery, but it can be understandable when people learn from those that have gone ahead of them in life. A role model is someone people look unto as an example to be imitated to have a better life. However, people have to be careful of the kind of choice they make in life. I believe the choice of a role model any rational human should make must be a positive/good role model. Such role model is always positive, well composed and have full self–confidence. I wake up every day to think about my impact on earth so far, and I live the rest of the day to try to make impact. My aspiration of becoming a positive role model is deemed important to me for some reasons. First, my heart hurts whenever I see a scattered life. For ...show more content... –I believe no one can make heaven except they are born again in Christ Jesus. –I believe living a positive life will make me end in heaven after death. My Moral: I know achieving my goal in life demands a lot which includes; showing respect and concern for others, and I need to humble myself because no one is perfect, I know I need to be accountable in all I do, I don't do to others what I don't want others to do to me, I don't have extramarital affair – I am able to do that by self–control, I take being constantly truthful serious, no one would ever believe a habitual liar even when he says the truth. I am sure, putting these into consideration in my life, will take me to my greater height of becoming a positive role model. My Values: I am so passionate to make the whole world positive and I know the positivism has to begin with me. My confidence is based on the people I inspire; therefore, I am conscious of whatever I do because people are looking at me to be made their role model. Apart from being positive, I value reliability, loyalty, seriousness in all I do, commitment, open–mindedness, consistency, honesty, innovation, creativity, good humor, compassion, motivation, respect, courage, perseverance, patriotism, service to others, and education: it is expedient that I give myself to more studies; it is said "Readers are leaders". • 7. Manager as a Role Model Hassan Naqvi Manager as a Role Model Being a manager comes with a lot of responsibilities and not everyone can handle such a pressure of being a leader. It is not necessary that a hard working individual with a lot of experience can be a good leader, as sometimes a good leader may not be competitive as some of the employees. As any company's manager comes with many responsibilities including hiring, terminating, scheduling, inventory, supervising and etc. A supervisor shall always lead with example because the employees look up to their bosses and expects to learn from them because one day they might take management position. Therefore, a good manager or supervisor should always emphasizes on good work ethics. What are some...show more content... However, if someone, breaks the rule and constantly do so should be warned and dealt with accordingly. For example; one of my employee was not producing and was taking long breaks and due to that I had to visit and talk to him. I did not want to be harsh and cruel with him so I decided to approach him differently. I went to see him and asked him to sit down. I start by asking him the reason why am I seeing him? Apparently he knew the reason, but I did not wanted to be tough, so I asked him, how is his personal life, and what can I do to help him. Indeed, he had some personal issues which he was dealing with and because of that it was reflecting his job duties. Indeed, I also reflected on his long breaks which needs to cut down to normal. • 8. My Role Model In My Life Most life changing events happen with someone whom you truly trust. It is easy to ignore people, withdraw, and not form relationships built on love and reliance. I have truly grown closer to my role model in my life. Matt Harp, my role model, is a man of truth, integrity, love, selflessness, and compassion. Many different times he surprised me with how he acted, spoke and thought. I clearly saw the Lord lead his life, and his actions revealed as much. I wanted to follow his example. He led me through junior high, what was definitely the toughest part of my life. Looking back, I can only imagine what would have happened in my life if I had not grown to trust this honorable man. There are many different times where Matt taught me a life lesson, but these three are the most prominent. He taught me how to be unique, be yourself, always be willing to share, and to never give up, even when you are tired. As a groovy guy, my small group leader always wore what the coolest clothes. I loved to talk to him about it. I said "I love your style. Where do you buy your clothes?" Many different times, I wore similar clothes to him. I started wearing unique socks, colored jeans, and many other things. He took more notice than I realized. One day he took me aside and said "You don't have to live exactly like someone else, you just need to be you." He insisted, saying "don't just copy me because you like the way that I dress, find your own groove." I took these small statements to heart. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. I Am A Role Model Growing up with my little brother, Harrison, has been such a blessing to me and my parents. Without him my family would not function the same way we do now. We spend a lot of time together, go to the mall, go to the park, have lunch dates, play video games, and sometimes we go to each other's games to cheer one another on. We have come a long way compared to how we used to act towards each other. Growing up with him was extremely challenging considering he followed, mocked, teased, judged, tattled, physically abused, and harassed me. Over the past fifteen years, Harrison and I have really grown closer because of all the arguing and I honestly believe that this is what brought us together. This may sound odd and extraordinary but not only is he my brother, he's also one of my best friends. Over the past fifteen years I 've learned that I am a role model to Harrison and that he looks up to me. When Harrison was five he would follow me all around the house and it would bug the crap out of me. If I sat a certain way in a chair, went outside to ride a bike, watched T.V., he was right beside me the whole time. We would fight over it all the time and my mom finally made me realize the he really looks up to me and wants to be just like me. After I figured that out I didn 't mind it as much but it still got really annoying at times because I just wasn 't used to someone doing every single thing I did. Harrison was always that little kid where every single little thing had to be even Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 11. Role Models Of A Good Role Model 1)A role model is "a person whose behavior, example, or success is or can be emulated by others, especially by younger people."("the definition of role model", 2016). A good role model has to demonstrate multiple qualities . They are people who other employees look to in times of crisis and for support as well. Role models have to lead by example and demonstrate abilities that reflect what the organization requires of the employees. The status of role models is much like the status of celebrities where each move they make, be it professional or in social context is judged, but unlike celebrities the role models actions also impact the reputation of their organization. A good role model 's qualities are many but I personally have nine that i want to discuss and believe are essential. These qualities are;" Optimism, Confidence, Hard work, Uniqueness, Communication, Respect, Knowledge, Well Rounded and Empathy." (Western, 2016) Firstly i believe if i were a role model i would want to be optimistic. I would like to explore new opportunities as well as explore new horizons and to challenge myself to achieve things others think impossible. This encourages employees at work and in life. Carrying oneself with confidence says a lot about a person. It makes you look sure of yourself when dealing with tasks knowing that you can and will complete it. This rubs off on employees as well. • 12. What Is A Role Model A Role Model Have you ever thought that if one tiny thing did not happen in your life, how much different you would be, how much one little detail could change who you are as a person? For example, if I had never played soccer then I could have become a high school drop out, for all we know. It got me thinking, how eternally grateful I am to the person who introduced me to soccer, my dad. I remember being a young kid with no responsibilities and no worries, always looking up to my dad so much. Like most kids, my dad was my first idol. A few years go by and I have had time to develop, I've been able to do more and more since when I first started playing. The older I became, the more soccer I seemed to play, and the more I played, the more I was out there looking up to my dad. I was not the only one though, my younger brother, who is 3 years younger than me had started to go through the same phase. He started joining my dad and I when we would go out and kick the ball and at first I thought it was probably because he had nothing else to do, I had not even considered the thought that he wanted to be like my dad too. We would go out as a group and kick the soccer ball and eventually on the days that my dad was "busy" we started to out outside, just the two of us. Before I even knew what happened it became a regular thing, to go out and kick the ball with my brother instead of my father, not long after that I began to notice changes in how my brother acted. He started to act like me, dress like me, he even picked up my behavioral issues, and for a short time he even began to pick up my stuttering problem. The identification can be done by examining the organisation's strategic and operational plans. Strategic plans sent out an organisation's goals or what it hopes to achieve over a specified period of time, usually three or five years. Operational plans also focus on an organisation's goals. Unlike strategic plans, they focus on a shorter period of time, often just one year and they tend to be more detailed and outline exactly what each work unit needs to achieve in any given year. Besides examining the organisation's strategic and operational plans which can be time consuming, another way to find out about the vision and strategic direction of the organisation is to consult a manager or a supervisor. In particular, ask them to explain what the goals for the organisation are with facts and figures. Tell the manager or supervisor what tasks I can be doing that will help the team. How would I ensure that I meet my job responsibilities?
