3. HYDROPONICS-THE FUTURE MODLE OF SUSTAINABLE FARMING
PRAVIN PATEL is the founder of Brio Hydroponics. His
ambitions lied in sustainable farming that gave people the
privilege of growing their own food and in empowering farmers
with 40 times more production through 10 times less water
than traditional farming. He committed to his vision—100%
sincere commitment to consumer’s health—and ensures that
every action of his and his business follows it. Over the years,
Brio Hydroponics has gained the trust and faith of well-
established businesses in the context of hydroponic farming.
• Plants that have been grown by hydroponic farming are-
Fruit: Strawberries
Herb: Basil
• Agripreneur (agricultural entrepreneur) is from Vadodra,
Gujarat
WE CAN NOW UNDERSTAND THAT HYDROPONICS IS THE
FUTURE MODLE OF SUSTAINABLE FARMING.
SCIENCE
4. • Hydroponics eliminates soil and soil-borne pests and disease, so there is no need to use large amounts of pesticides.
• This system does not need workable soil so we are not losing the soil in this.
• This farming causes Up to 90% more efficient use of water.
• By this, production increases 3 to 10 times in the same amount of space.
• Many crops can be produced twice as fast in a well managed hydroponic system.
• It reduces soil erosion as well as air and water pollution. Pesticides from traditional soil-based agriculture run off into rivers and
streams, harming fish populations.
• Produces higher quality food by this farming.
• Complete Control Over Climate also Saves Water. Also it require less labor for growing more with less effort.
• It reduces Supply Chain means they can fulfill the needs of their local communities without wasteful transport and questionable
preservation processes.
• It has a predictability and Seasonality means conditions are controlled by the grower

12. BHANGRA
Bhangra is an energetic, folk dance and music form that originated in Punjab, India.
Bhangra is an energetic and fast-paced dance gaining popularity all over the world, similar to Gurgaon
which is a new and modern city.
You may have taken note of the dancers' extremely colorful Bhangra uniforms/outfits, or vardiyaan,
during the performance. Men tend to wear a kurta, a vest, and a pagh, while women wear a salwar, a
kurta, a vest, and a chunni.
In the mid-20th century the bhangra dance began to gain popularity beyond Punjab, and, as it did so, it
became divorced from the agricultural cycle, emerging as a regular feature of wedding festivities,
birthday parties, local fairs, and other celebrations.
Bhangra was mainly done by Farmers farmers during the harvesting season. It was mainly performed
while farmers did agricultural chores. As they did each farming activity they would perform bhangra
moves on the spot. This allowed them to finish their job in a pleasurable way.
