This document outlines Diego Carballido's personal brand exploration project. He has been a songwriter for 12 years and now wants to help artists and record labels as an A&R professional. His goals are to apply for A&R jobs, get experience in the role, and eventually become a director of A&R. He analyzes his skills, competition in the field, and outlines his marketing and networking strategies to build his personal brand as a songwriter called "Carbalyrics".
2. IDENTITY
Hi! My name is Diego Carballido. In the past 12
years I have been writing songs and dreaming
about the possibility of everyone listening to
these, whether through my voice or someone's
else. Successfully, I shared my talent and
collaborated with artists in the music industry,
specifically in Miami. This experience is the
milestone I have today to keep helping record
labels and artists, to collaborate, create a
community, build brands, and go beyond what
we know about the music industry today... Not
only as a songwriter, but as an A&R capacitated
to put a team together.

You know artists struggle with songwriting for their next hit? Well, what I do
is meeting with these artists in writing sessions and create potential hits
along with them, while teaching them songwriting techniques. In fact, there
are artists that have achieved over 100k streams with the songs I wrote for
them.

Methodology:
Forbes valued more than 200 global brands by looking at three years of earnings and allocating a percentage of those earnings based on the role brands play in each industry (e.g., high for luxury goods and beverages, low for airlines and oil companies). We applied the average price-to-earnings multiple over the past three years to these earnings to arrive at the final brand value.
