2. “Changed”
Brittany Marie Warthan is a Country Music singer and songwriter that is making a name
for herself in Nashville, TN. Originally from Virginia, Brittany has been pursuing her career in
music since 2013 and has several releases under her belt as well as established herself as live
3. performer. Growing up she was strongly influenced by her grandfather and his Country and Blue
Grass bands as well as Christian Rock. She knew at an early age that singing is something she
wanted to do and didn’t care what other said, she was going to set out and do it. She even
endured being teased by her peers in school, however it wasn’t until she attended the World
Championship for Performing Arts in Los Angeles, CA where she won the gold medal for
Country Music performance in her age group did she have the self-confidence to pursue her
dreams full time.
Ever since she made the decision to pursue her career in the music industry, she has
always stayed true to who she is as a person as well as an artist. She has multiple releases already
available on such streaming services as Spotify and Apply Music as well we several music
videos on both YouTube and Vevo. She currently has over 15,000 followers on her Facebook
page, over 5,000 followers on Instagram and only recently started up a Twitter page that has over
70 followers and growing. She has opened for such artists as Chris Young, Brett Eldridge, Chase
Rice, Dylan Scott, Clint Black, and Justin Moore to name a few. She has countless sold-out
events as well as performed the National Anthem for Nascar at the Richmond International
Raceway. She was a featured artist for “CMA Awards Viewing party” that was hosted by 93.1
The Wolf Radio and was also the VIP Club entertainment for a Kenny Chesney and Dierkes
Bentley concert. Brittany Warthan has a proven track record of being able to capture an audience
and doesn’t let them go until the last note fades into the echo of applause.
I first met Brittany Marie Warthan because of her older sister, whom I graduated high
school with. During a basketball game where I was the mascot, I accidentally rode a scotter into
the cheerleaders during their halftime show. After the game Brittany started hitting me with her
sister’s pom poms, I’ll never forget it. Fast forward several years, the word had gotten around
4. back home that I was working in the music industry and I had stayed in touch with many people.
I noticed that Brittany was performing and singing and often her and her manager, her mother,
would ask me advice as well as for any help. However, at the time I had no expertise working
with Country Music as I had worked entirely with Dance Electronic Music or the official dance
remixes of Top 40 tracks as well as dance tracks. I always paid attention to what Brittany was
doing and tried to offer support along the way.
As I was searching for a publishing company for Brittany Marie Warthan there were
several things we wanted to consider. One that specialized in Country music, but also one that is
operated by people within the music industry that are passionate about what they do. So, it didn’t
take much for us to decide on Demolition Music. Located at the heart of Nashville, TN,
Demolition Music is an independent publishing company that is fueled by their passion for
music. What originally started out as a small staff of 3 writers that specialized in Country music
has grown into a divergent music organization. Starting out they centered around Country music;
however, they have extended into such genres as pop, rock, EDM, hip-hop as well as TV/film.
Demolition’s roster boasts such cuts as Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Lee Brice, Drew Smith,
Megan Conner, and Jason Eustice to name a few.
The song that we want to submit to Demolition Music would be Brittany Warthan’s song
“Changed” because it is a good representation of who Brittany is at her roots, but how she has
blossomed into a force to be reckoned with. The link to her song is,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-3CEm4_ctU. This song would be great for movies, as well
as would be a great fit for any established artist that is looking brand themselves within the
Country music scene. When it comes to contacting Demolition Music the route that I think
would work best would be to establish rapport with Adam Epstein, who heads A&R, on
5. LinkedIn. Adam and I have met briefly years ago because of my work with my mentor Debra
Eriksen and her company Oracle Entertainment. After reaching out to him, reconnecting and
building rapport, I can easily arrange a meet and greet in Nashville, such as grabbing a cup of
coffee. He will of course ask me what I have been up to and what I am working on and I will be
able to pitch Brittany Marie. Demolition Music would be able to help with the publishing of her
song to ensure that Brittany as a singer and songwriter gets all of her music correctly copyright
as well as legally protected. She is already registered with PROs and already owns the copyright
for this song as well as her current catalogue. Because of the influence and reach that Demolition
music has within the music industry and the range of who Brittany Marie Warthan is we will be
able to tap into other markets outside of Country Music allowing Brittany to reach. Her full
potential.

Good Afternoon Adam Epstein,
I wanted to thank you for accepting my request on LinkedIn as well as remembering our
brief meeting from Winter Music Conference in 2010. I have since continued working with
Debra Eriksen on various projects in a variety of capacities. I am reaching out to touch base with
you because I will be in Nashville in the coming weeks and wanted to arrange a meet and greet.
You had asked me what I have been up to lately and it would give us a great opportunity to catch
up. I am also working on a few things and one of them is in regard to an artist I represent
Brittany Marie Warthan, who is a Country singer based out of Nashville, TN. I will be in town
for a few meetings with her and wanted to be able to meet up with you while I was in town.
Please let me know what day as well as what time would work best for you. I look forward to
hearing back from you and being able to meet up and catch up. Thank you for your time.
Yours Sincerely,
