The Scene is set at the very end of the Story, right after The Protagonist Nick Ramos
saves his friend Annie, then a van pulls up and Annie’s dad shows up. Her dad first
apologises to Annie for going down the wrong path in life and messing up, then
Annie apologises for running away because she thought she was being a burden to
him with him always needing to collect Zombrex for her. Nick then interrupts him
and says that because he’s a thug and he’s been trying to kidnap her. Then he and
Rick start arguing and he reveals himself to be Chuck Greene, the protagonist from
the previous instalment. Then after Chuck has a quick conversation with Isabela
Keyes (a character from the previous games also who Chuck also knows) they decide
that they all need to escape on the plane they have right away. Later on when they
have the plane Rhonda & Gary, 2 of Nick’s friends, decide to stay to pick up the
remaining survivors, and the rest prepare to escape.
The mood starts as one of shock as Annie’s dad arrives, then quickly turns to one of
sadness as Annie and her dad apologise to each other. Then it is shortly tense as
Nick and her dad argue and he reveals his name, then throughout the rest of the
scene its mildly tense as Isabela reveals why they need to escape shortly. Then the
same tense music plays towards the end.
When Annie’s dad arrives the music is quiet and
intriguing, then when Annie and her dad make up
and apologise to each other the music is very
sombre. Then when Nick and Annie’s dad start
arguing the music becomes tense and when her
dad reveals himself to be Chuck Greene, the
music picks up and becomes dramatic. Then
throughout the rest of the scene with Chuck
talking to Isabela and them setting up the plane,
the music returns to being quiet and intriguing.

Most of the cutscenes narrative is the characters conversing with each other.
At the start the music is very quiet to contribute
to the shock factor of Annie’s dad finding her.
Then as they apologise the music becomes
saddening with a distinct piano in the background.
Then becomes slowly more dramatic as Nick
argues with her dad. Then similar, again intriguing
music plays as they prepare to escape.
Throughout the game the music is mostly
dramatic to coincide with the Zombie apocalypse,
and is also has the same, intriguing music as well
with the plot and story.
