o Operations of inflow & outflow of logistics for Parts Distribution Centre, Vehicle Yard & Electronics & Home
Appliances division.
o Complete Import, export & warehousing of OTE Group
 Managing major:
o Auto brands like GM, Cadillac, Hyundai, Subaru, Cherry, Isuzu, Sangyong and so on
o Electronics Brands like LG, White-Westinghouse, Bosch, Kelon, Hisense, Prolux and so on
 Liaising with Branch Managers for material availability in accordance to branches’ sales plan
 Contributing towards ensuring and planning timely dispatch of goods to over 15 Branches across OMAN, 20
Hypermarket and 40 Dealers thus ensuring no loss of sale
 Facilitating introduction of Clamp Lift, first time in Muscat for EHA business
 Introduction of the Concept of DID (Delivery Installation Demo) in case of Electronics Goods for better customer

 Regulating variance analysis to compare actual and budgeted expenditure and tracking reasons for variations

 Directing 100% implementation of bar coding (Recently started RFDC - Radio Frequency Data Capturing)

Highlights:
 Played a key role in maintaining optimum level of inventory with DOS(Days of Stock) not exceeding set norms(60+)
and ensuring model mix availability to 95%
 Acknowledged for:
o State of world class Logistics centre 10000 sq mtr - Project Leader for designing warehouse / MHEs requirement
like Fork Lifts, Dock Levellers, Vehicles, electric works / warehouse mapping.
o Increasing warehouse utilization to 82% against 44% wherein all hired warehouse were withdrawn and dispatched
area was relocated near loading point so the after retrieval of material was very close to packaging point/ loading point
Annual Space savings = R.O 2/- per sq.mtr x 2692sq.mtrs = R.O 5384/- x 12 month = R.O 64,619/-
 Successfully dispensed hiring outside vehicle/ by re arranging rout/ nos. of trips/ deploying additional drivers as per
nos of vehicle / Shuttle times are fixed & vehicle movement procedure put in place
 Pivotal in re-arranging route/ nos. of trips/ shuttle times fixed & vehicle movement/ VTS procedure put in place which
resulted in per day hiring of vehicle reduced @ RO 200 x340 days = RO68000
 Adjudged for contract labour/ OT reduction by motivating national to 40% wherein manpower kept same as 2006-
2007 in year 2009/2010 and no additional worker was deployed inspite of increase load
 Facilitated for proposing the net effective less than 21% than last year actual expanses, although the growth of
minimum 30% in business was also taken care in present revenue budget
 Track record of transport legal contracts being finalized with marginal increased 5% in rate, although it was decided
in 2006-07 to increased by 20% by hard negotiation plus introduction of new reputed competitive contractors
 Purchase/ design of 5 nos of 40 Ton Prime Mover vehicle with locally Dubai fabricated 15Ton Car Carrier truck to
meet the delivery requirements of Buraimi / Sur & Salalah wherein the cost benefit worked out in own V/s market
hire vehicle was RO 6000 pm x 5 x 180 trips =RO5400K
 Successfully developed & implemented perpetual inventory initiatives to streamline the inventory function
 Organized / conducted training program in maintaining the delicate balance of increased material and logistics cost
against the expectations of improved service levels mandated by customers.
 Achieved cost savings of approximately RO5.5 Million / 14.5 Million US$ from year to year through the execution of
negotiation and vendor management
 Implemented process enhancement initiatives through measures such as Speed and real time flow of information aids
in shrinking cycle time and improving the response to changes and expectation that resulted in benefits for the
company
 Received the Best Employee Award in recognition of Savings in bottom line business to 5.5 millions inspite of being in
a support function Division.
