I am pleased to write this recommendation on behalf of Debra Kent. Debra began
working at New Seasons Market in July of 2011. As the Promotions Manager at 3
different stores in our company, I have seen Debra work hard on developing her team
and ensuring highest level of customer service not only in her department, but all
around the stores. She has established good relationships with her colleagues, and
during her time in this company she has developed strong leadership and interpersonal
skills that have been unanimously praised by staff, managers, and vendors.
Debra’s duties as the Promotion Manager involved organizing tasting events on daily
basis, including big promotional weekend tastings, helping departments promote their
products, introducing staff to new and seasonal vendor products, executing store wide
events, to name a few contributions. Debra supervised staff in her department and
oversaw event and sample execution store wide.
Debra’s talents were always evident in her performance. She has consistently taken on
and completed assigned project with enthusiasm. She took it upon herself to develop
systems and program that were designed to improve product and vendor knowledge
and ultimately elevate customer service. She created excitement around learning and
participating in the company’s success. Debra developed a very clear template for
successfully executing store events that were duplicated by other managers.
Her performance at work proves that she is fully capable of working well with teams,
being self-driven, complete projects on time and successfully, and be able to integrate
herself in any environment. Her passion for people, whether colleagues, customers, or
vendors, would make her an asset to any company. Debra is very driven and able to
make positive contribution in many different areas of her job, while continuing to grow
her skill sets.
