Backed up by an enthusiastic and path breaking scientific manpower resource, Vibha

As a Plant In charge my responsibilities are to watch over and organize the daily operations in the seed
processing plant like oversee employees, production and efficiency, to make sure the plant is running
smoothly, quickly, efficiently and safely.
To maintain optimum operation by assigning workers, creating and keeping work and production
schedules, hiring and training new employees, collecting and looking through data to find places of
waste or places of improvement, keep an eye on worker safety and plant safety, monitor the production
equipment to make sure that it stays in good working order, and repair or replace the equipment when
needed.
To maintain quality control when the item manufactured & leaves the plant. Communicate with all the
other departments like STL, QC & Labelling or parts of the plant to make sure everything runs
smoothly.
Specific Accountabilities:
• Lead plant production and maintenance personnel in day to day activities to ensure the safe and
efficient maintenance of equipment and facilities
• Ensure the efficient processing of incoming recyclable materials while maintaining end product
quality standards
• Ensure preventative maintenance and repairs of all material handling systems and equipment to
minimize downtime
• Works with Plant Maintenance Supervisor in planning, budgeting, organizing resources,
executing work plans, monitors production and quality, co-ordinates priorities, resolves issues
and participates in special projects and work schedules
• Hire, direct, coach and mentor staff to ensure performance targets are being met
• Ensures that all staff subordinates are suitably trained/qualified/licensed for the various tasks
and jobs they must complete. This includes but not limited to Lock out Tag out (LOTO), fall
arrest, confined space entry, hot work permits, fire extinguishers, lift truck operation, etc
• Plans, organizes, implements and monitors work schedules/external suppliers consistent with
the normal needs of the plant and special projects
• Assume P&L responsibility including the development and achievement of budgetary and cash
flow goals to ensure the long-term viability of the plant
• Ensure site compliance to all labour, safety, and environmental regulations
• Prepare management reporting as required
• Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are being met by supporting and participating in
regular Health & Safety meetings

Achievements:
• Reduced the Power consumption from 1550 Hp 33 KVA to 750 HP 11 KVA which is a major
cost saving achievement to the organization in the sick phase without disturbing the
productivity.
• Used the minimum man power both skilled and unskilled and made them multitasking to
complete the seed processing season.
• Restructured entire secrurity system with all the plants and implemented new stratagies.
• Restructured Finance resources and created new line of control.
• Controlled packing material wastage from 6 to 8 pouches/per min to 2 to 4/per min on the
packing lines.
• Motivated the staff continuously and enlighten them to work under pressure and complete the
deadlines.
• Reduced the Maintenance cost by restoring the existing batteries for 8 forklifts, 22 stackers.
• Controlled overall overheads like Power Consumption, Skilled & Unskilled Workers usage,
Maintenance by accurate and necessary usage of the machinery and multitasking.

As a Plant In charge my responsibilities are to watch over and organize the daily operations in the seed processing plant like oversee employees, production and efficiency, to make sure the plant is running smoothly, quickly, efficiently and safely. To maintain optimum operation by assigning workers, creating and keeping work and production schedules, hiring and training new employees, collecting and looking through data to find places of waste or places of improvement, keep an eye on worker safety and plant safety, monitor the production equipment to make sure that it stays in good working order, and repair or replace the equipment when needed.
