nominate weld procedures. Carry out weld inspections before during & after welding, including

Site Welding & Quality Coordinator
Reporting to the Maintenance Technology Superintendent, we were all part of the inspection &
condition monitoring team. The Welding & Quality Coordinators main role is to ensure all
welding carried out on & off site by various work groups and contractors, is controlled and that
all welders & welding procedures are suitably qualified & conform to minimum site, Australian &
International standard compliance.

Fabrication & Welding Coordinator
The Fabrication Coordinators role provided supervision of 20 Trades, 2 Non trades, 3-5
contractors & 8 apprentices, with a high priority of ensuring a safe & efficient workforce to carry
out the required maintenance, fabrication & welding work within the workshops, Alumina
refinery, mine, materials handling, port, plant & steam power station.
The site welding coordinator is responsible for the management and maintenance of all welding
activities on and off site, to ensure RTA Gove and their alliance partners use suitably qualified
personnel and procedures that fully comply with the relevant site and National Standards.
