My name is Gregg Santee, the Technical and Creative Arts Pastor at The Roots
Community Church. Dave Evans has been serving in the Creative Arts Ministry as
the Media Presentation Lead and in the process I have gotten a chance to get to
know him better as a person and how he operates professionally.
One of the primary responsibilities of a Lead is caring for those you are in leadership
over. It has been great to see how seriously Dave takes this. He always strives to
help people grow into operating better as a team member and is very organized
while he does it. He writes training schedules, communicates clearly, motivates well,
manages people effectively and does it all with a smile on his face. His positive
attitude is contagious and uplifting. He regularly has creative ideas to help things
operate more efficiently and effectively. He is a major asset to our team!
One of the things I want to point out about Dave that is, in my opinion, one of his
greatest qualities, is his dedication. It is very hard to find people today with his level
of dedication and commitment. Dave is a person who I know if he says he is going to
do something, it will happen. It’s a quality that if not instilled early is hard to teach.
He is a person who I never have to worry about a no-­‐show, no-­‐call. Dave Evans
comes highly recommended no matter what position he is applying for. I know he
will take the job seriously and be committed to making it a success.
