Repentance is necessary for our salvation, but what does it mean? The Parable of the Prodigal Son provides a beautiful picture of repentance demonstrating the necessity of honesty, humility and action.
2. “For godly grief produces
a repentance that leads to
salvation without regret,
whereas worldly grief
produces death.”
—2 Corinthians 7.10
CB p. 319 NT
19. “Woe is me! For I am lost;
for I am a man of unclean
lips, and I dwell in the
midst of a people of
unclean lips; for my eyes
have seen the King,
Jehovah of hosts!”
Isaiah 6.5
