1. Curriculum
• Curriculum is designed and updated by the university.
• Our faculty members proactively participate in
curriculum preparation in the capacity of members of
BOS.
• Continuous feedback for curriculum enrichment is taken
from stakeholders like:

• Suggestions are analysed and sent to University.
Curriculum Implementation
• Regular monitoring of the completion of the syllabus done
by the coordinator and chairperson of the IQAC.
• Issues regarding curriculum are discussed in the parent-
teacher meeting.
• Key Performance Indicator displayed on the college
website and also monitored by department of higher
education.

• Computer lab for students.
• Use of ICT has been implemented in the teaching-
learning process.

(FDP/refresher) of the faculties.

• Academic calendar is prepared and followed.
• Bridging the gap between rural-urban background
students by special and remedial classes by the

• All staff and students are registered on e-
Granthalaya (e-Library) and all can access more
than 20 lac books.
• Tutorial Classes: To improve the communication
skills of the students and improve the
performance of weak students.
• Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA): Through
Assignments, Group Discussions, and Seminars
along with Internal Evaluations.
• Faculty members are constantly encouraged by
IQAC to use innovative teaching methods by
 Power point presentations.
 Models and Charts.
• Quiz, seminars, workshops, essay and speech competitions
are regularly arranged by the departments.
• Mentor System
Department wise mentor system enforced: Based on the
subjects, classes and practical batches they handle. Each
mentor allotted 30-40 students for all three years UG
course.
• Self- appraisal report system (ACR) : Year-wise self
appraisal report of teachers is prepared and submitted to
higher authorities yearly by using IFMS Portal.
• Evaluation of Teachers: By online method using Samarth
portal evaluation of teachers analyzed and forwarded to
higher authorities by IQAC.

programs for making a drug-free society and
successfully achieved the aim of making a drug-free
campus.

the College.
 Girl’s hostel building is under construction.

Objectives • To encourage self- evaluation, accountability, and innovation in teaching learning, and research. • To evolve quality culture in the college. • To evolve quality benchmarks and systems for various academic and administrative activities. • To set future plans of action based on feedback from various stakeholders.
  • 5. SWOC Analysis Strength • Almost pollution-free zone. • Not even a single case of ragging in the last decade. • No gender biases in the college. • Hard working teachers and students. Challenges • Dropout rate in the first year is high. • Insufficient staff to conduct various extra activities even for semester exams and semester system. • No industry or employable assets nearby. Weakness • Fewer transport facilities in the area. • Numbers of faculty members are less than required. • Poor internet connectivity. Opportunities • Docile and obedient students hence can be effectively molded to learn newer things. • Young energetic and dynamic faculty who are motivated to learn newer techniques.

Major contributions during assessment years Developing quality system • Regular meetings for developing and improving the quality of academic activities. • Started PG courses in 5 science subjects. • Preparation of annual AQAR for NAAC accreditation. Monitoring mechanism • Maintained feedback mechanism and its analysis. • Established grievance redressal cell. • Regular updating of the college website. Improving teaching learning and research • Organised international and national seminars, workshops, and guest lectures. • Enhanced use of ICT tools. • Encouraging faculties for writing good research papers/projects.

  • 8. 1. Curriculum • Curriculum is designed and updated by the university. • Our faculty members proactively participate in curriculum preparation in the capacity of members of BOS. • Continuous feedback for curriculum enrichment is taken from stakeholders like: Students Teachers Alumni Parents • Suggestions are analysed and sent to University.
  • 9. Curriculum Implementation • Regular monitoring of the completion of the syllabus done by the coordinator and chairperson of the IQAC. • Issues regarding curriculum are discussed in the parent- teacher meeting. • Key Performance Indicator displayed on the college website and also monitored by department of higher education.

Teaching-Learning • Computer lab for students. • Use of ICT has been implemented in the teaching- learning process. • Continuous professional development (FDP/refresher) of the faculties. • Evaluation of the performance of teachers and students. • Academic calendar is prepared and followed. • Bridging the gap between rural-urban background students by special and remedial classes by the concerned departments.

Teaching-Learning (Cont….) • All staff and students are registered on e- Granthalaya (e-Library) and all can access more than 20 lac books. • Tutorial Classes: To improve the communication skills of the students and improve the performance of weak students. • Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA): Through Assignments, Group Discussions, and Seminars along with Internal Evaluations. • Faculty members are constantly encouraged by IQAC to use innovative teaching methods by  Power point presentations.  Models and Charts.
  • 12. • Quiz, seminars, workshops, essay and speech competitions are regularly arranged by the departments. • Mentor System Department wise mentor system enforced: Based on the subjects, classes and practical batches they handle. Each mentor allotted 30-40 students for all three years UG course. • Self- appraisal report system (ACR) : Year-wise self appraisal report of teachers is prepared and submitted to higher authorities yearly by using IFMS Portal. • Evaluation of Teachers: By online method using Samarth portal evaluation of teachers analyzed and forwarded to higher authorities by IQAC. Social services done through our NSS/ NCC unit actively are as follows:  Traffic Awareness Programme.  Blood Donation Camp.  Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan.  International Yoga Day.  Rally on AIDS awareness.  Tree Plantation Programme.  Paryavaran Suraksha Abhiyan.  Pulse Polio Immunization Programme.  Covid vaccination camps  Army Training camps.

Extension Activities • Antidrug cell continuously organized awareness programs for making a drug-free society and successfully achieved the aim of making a drug-free campus. • Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan College has adopted 5 villages to be developed. • International & National Conference Organized International : 02 National : 04 • Two new self-financed vocational courses (in Ecotourism and Web designing): University panel has been conducted and final approval by Hon. Governor is awaited.
  • 21. 5. Student Support and Progression • IQAC has tried to make learning student-centric by adopting the following methods: Providing text and reference books for self-study. Quiz and Group Discussions. Practical and Project work. Use of ICT tools for effective learning. By making available e-learning resources (e-Granthalaya). Scholarships. Subscribing Research Journals and Periodicals. A total no. of 20000 books and more than 445 Journals/Periodicals are present in the Central Library of the College.

Future plan of action • Opening new subjects in UG (Drawing, Geography, Home Science, Sanskrit, Music) and PG courses (Hindi, Economics, English). • Installing solar energy plants. • Start a new vocational course in wet lab techniques used in industries. • Establishing advanced research laboratories.

College should have playground and gym A well equipped gym has been established in 2020. Due to the non- availability of land sports activities are being conducted in nearby playground. College should have post graduation in science subjects Started in five science subjects by this session College should start some job oriented courses Two self financed vocational courses (ecotourism and web designing) are soon to be started. University panel conducted but approval od Hon. Governor is awaited. Furniture for students should be sufficient. Adequate furniture is available for students.
