they will help you measure and communicate performance.
The Steering Wheel
The Steering Wheel (top Right) is the same for all hotels and de-
partments across the world. You can use this to bring together
your performance measurements and track how your hotel is
doing in an easy to understand way.
The four quadrants - Our People, Guest Experience, Responsi-
ble Business and Financial Returns are the key elements that will

Like many chefs in the business, Chef Daniel Frago
Rayos early cooking experience goes back to his child-
hood experiments in the family home kitchen. After
completing his apprenticeship at the University Of The
Philippines Asian Institute of Tourism, Chef Rayos felt
the need to expand his knowledge and hone the core
culinary competence on International Cuisine. So he
decided to become a culinary expatriate. His 32 years
of extensive traveling has exposed and taught him a lot
about International Cuisine ( especially French, Italian,
American , Arabic, Indian, Chinese / Asian and other
international Cuisines). The learning process never
stops because everyday new challenges, techniques
and trends are met. And each hotel property is a new
door for improvement to enhance Room to Grow for
one success story. Right now a new chapter has be-
gun again .the journey to IHG Success
