Bradley Graham, owner of Graham Accounting and Tax LLC, writes a letter of recommendation for Daniel Flink, a former employee. Graham says that Flink was his first hire of an accountant with a degree who could understand Graham's needs without any training. Flink got along well with other staff, was adept in all areas of accounting, and was knowledgeable in tax preparation which helped Graham significantly. While Flink was let go due to downsizing after losing a major client, Graham strongly recommends him and says Flink is reliable in all accounting and tax systems.

To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Daniel Flink, a former employee and very good friend. A
little over two years ago, my accounting and tax practice had engaged a new client that required me to find a well-educated and
capable accountant conversant in my management language. Heretofore I had only hired assistants and administrative level
people. Daniel was my first hire of an accountant with a degree that could understand what I needed him to do without any
training.
I immediately liked Daniel, and, he became a favorite of the other staff members in our office. As they all worked together, I
noticed how well they all got along, and I particularly noticed the kindness and mutual respect Daniel offered my other
employees. He was always one of the gang, although he was noticeably more adept in all areas of accounting. The other staff
members migrated to that when they found it out, and he became a great trainer and teacher in the accounting office.
Daniel’s technical skills included not only an understanding of the accounting package we used, but also a great general
understanding of accounting theory. His duties included the general ledger, financial statements, and training and supervising
other staff members in A/R, A/P and Payroll Systems. He also was knowledgeable in Inventory and Fixed Asset systems.
Perhaps the area that I really enjoyed his expertise was in the area of personal and business tax preparation. We have over 300
clients, and I used to do all of this work myself before Daniel came along. I hired him because of previous tax prep experience,
and that paid off dividends for me.
He was always willing to go the extra mile for me, and I really became good friends with him, as I came to appreciate all of his
prior experiences. He had been a business owner himself, and that fact seemed to help me in many areas of my business.
Unfortunately, we lost a significant amount of revenue due to a large client pulling back its operations and going into survival
mode. It was no fault of Daniel’s that he was let go; as he had done everything I had asked of him. But the size of the office
was sort of reset, and I had to downsize the office for a time.
He is a delightful employee. I would strongly recommend him. If you want someone who knows what he is doing, and is
reliable in every accounting and tax system, Daniel is a great fit.
If I can be of any assistance to you in finding out more about him, please don’t hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
Bradley Graham
