Daniel Weber has extensive experience in safety, education, and coaching. He has a Master's degree in Occupational Environmental Health and Safety and is expected to graduate with a Master's in Business Administration in Fall 2016. Currently he is an EHS Coordinator responsible for safety compliance, audits, training, and first aid. Previous roles include correctional officer, account representative, relief teacher, and machine operator where he performed safety checks and ensured compliance. He has several safety certifications and was part of a student safety organization.

Work Experience:
MetalCraft of Mayville: Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator. Mayville, WI July 2015 – Present
As an EHS Coordinator I am responsible to carry out many duties that include all workers compensation claims and
OSHA 300 Log recording. Conduct Safety, Security, Fire and Environmental audits to ensure compliance with
company, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and OSHA standards. I am responsible for all loss
prevention and security for both facilities. This involves monitoring all cameras, security alarms, and fire alarm
systems. In addition I am responsible to train all new employees and annual trainings in our safety culture. Specific
trainings I have presented are hazard communication, emergency action plans, hearing conservation, personal
protective equipment, confined space entry, lockout/ tag out, electrical safety, fall protection, incident investigation,
root cause analysis and hazard analysis, forklift training, crane and rigging training, ladder inspection, and blood
borne pathogens. In addition to these trainings I am also in charge of the first aide team as well as our safety
committee. I manage and maintain all of the first aide supplies and order anything needed though SAP. I am
proficient at using the 1910 and the 1926 CFR.
Mendota Mental Health: Correctional Officer, Madison, WI July 2014- July 2015
As a correctional Officer, I supervise inmates in their day to day lives. I am responsible for the safety and order
inside the prison of the staff and inmates. I am required to supervise inmates on their work release job sites. I
frequently show them safer ways of conducting their work. In addition to supervising the inmates, I do frequent
safety checks around Mendota to identify frequently violated safety hazards. I watched all cameras and monitored
locking gates, security systems. I am responsible for several hazard assessment audits every day that include life,
fire, and environmental checks. When a safety hazard is identified, I cite the standard from the 1910 or 1926 CFR.
2. Pepsi Cola – Account Representative, Madison, WI August 2014-June 2015
As an account representative for Pepsi cola of Madison, I am responsible for ordering and maintaining the product
for large format stores. My number one goal as an account representative is to make sure each account is well
maintained by Pepsi standards in a safe manor. Some of my duties consist of doing preventative maintenance on
equipment as well as going through a safety check list at each account. It is imperative that each account is held to
the highest possible quality to ensure customer appreciation.
Sales Driver, Merchandiser, Warehouse employee, Sheboygan Falls, WI May 2005- June 2008
In addition to my current position at Pepsi I have had previous experience working for Pepsi in Sheboygan falls. My
position required me to be flexible enough to take on a number of different roles such as sales driver, merchandiser,
and warehouse employee. While performing these tasks I needed to complete a number or trainings such as fork lift
certifications and basic safety regulations that go along with semis. It was my responsibility to perform a pre use
safety check on each vehicle and do basic preventative maintenance on each piece of machinery I needed to use to
carry out each task.
Relief Teacher, WI August 2012- May 2015
As a relief teacher at Sheboygan Area School District, Middleton School District, Verona School District, and
Monona Grove School District. I can manage any classroom that I am called upon to teach. I would deal directly
with children from elementary school to the high school level. I have the ability to think critically and flexibly
enough to follow lesson plans and teach various topics related to the class that I am assigned to.
Bemis Manufacturing: Machine Operator, ADF, Shipping, Finishing, May 2008-August 2014
I have worked in several positions. I was a part of the safety committee. While participating in the safety committee
I was able to bring attention to several hazards that exists on the Bemis campus. The committee was able to take
appropriate action to make Bemis a much safer place.
Concordia University of Wisconsin: May 2008 - December 2012
I have coached football on a number of teams including Sheboygan North High School, Rock County Gladiators,
and Concordia University of Wisconsin. As an assistant football coach at Concordia, I had many administrative
duties and dealt directly with personal and academic issues players may have. I also dealt with the business aspect of
coaching and administration. I was in charge of all travel and football operations expenses. In addition to my duties I
was able to get valuable experience in a leadership role and became a master of time management. During the
season and spring football I conducted room and safety audits around campus to comply with NFPA and OSHA
regulations.
