Event Security Supervisor
Currently supervising (P/T) in-house more than two hundred unionized Security officers
and contract security (more than 150 staff members). Duties include training, mentoring
and supervision of security staff for special events, such as Grey Cup, BC Lions and
Whitecaps soccer and home shows etc. Liaison with Vancouver Police Department and

GardaWorld Security (July 2016 to Present)
Health & Safety Coordinator
My new role as Health and Safety coordinator with GardaWorld Security allowed me to
get more experience in the safety environment. I prepare documentation for accuracy and
provide feedback to the management and clients. I also assist in the planning and start-up
of new projects with respect to safety Inventory safety related training of workers;
conduct new worker safety orientations; Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks,

Security Site Manager University Of Fraser Valley
I worked at University of Fraser Valley (UFV) Site and looked after Abbottsford,
Mission, Clearbrook and Chilliwack campuses. My role was to carry out risk
assessments and make recommendations to UFV Security Management, assessing level
of risks. Encouraged university community to report all incidents and ensure that reports
are analyzed in terms of trends emerging to inform decisions on cost effective
deployment of staff, CCTV etc. I worked with the UFV Security Management Support
Teams and Premises Managers in order to facilitate an integrated service. I also shared
views with UFV Security Management on confidential or sensitive matters and act as a
conduit between the University and the police at all levels in order to expedite solutions
to difficult situations. I received and deal with any information that had a security
dimension and dealt with that in a confidential manner.
Plan for the continual development of the security services and ensure that appropriate
arrangements are in place for recruiting, directing, supervising, appraising, counselling
