Right out of High School, I spent 10 years in the U.S. Army, pursuing and living my passion for flying
Blackhawks. While flying for a global, special operations team, I developed a passion for safety.
After my military career, I spent many years in the industrial and commercial
contruction/maintenance safety environments across the country. In particular, I have spent many
years as a Safety Manager in coal burning/nuclear power plants (all over the country), refineries, and
other commercial and industrial construction environments in a safety consulting/managing
capacity. I utilize my natural ability to build relationships and bridge gaps in tier structured projects
at any level, with any type of company, in order to facilitate project safety goals. I quickly recognize
company/project safety needs, and arrange for those needs to be met in such a way as to make the
company/project more successful. Driven by individual and corporate success to develop "over the
top" safety cultures; and make already "good" safety cultures even better through the plan, do, check,
act cycle (PDCA). I posses an extreme ability to develop truly strong safety cultures while helping to
increase the bottom line for projects/companies.
