Tentative title of the project: Deprivation of young people
Target group: Young people (18-35 years old) who are graduates are deprived of voice and influence in matters to do
with the labor market in Rumuekpe community in Nigeria

While conducting needs assessment survey in Rumuekpe community in Nigeria, it was noticed that the
community has no involvement of young people in the labor market. (World Health Organization
2011) According to statistics, more than 1,400youths are deprived of voice and influence in matters to
do with the labor market. (United Nation Organization, 2011) In such community, it will be important
to provide young people with professional skills on how to address their participation in the labor
market. This will result in an increase of young people in the labor market.

achieve by the end of a
project)
To move young people from deprivation to inclusion by establishing an innovative, sustainable and
integrated toolkit for participation in the labor market.

To develop and deliver innovative educational opportunities highlighting the importance of young
people inclusion as a key life skills.
To establish a professional skills, making it easier to start and run enterprises in order to provide more
and better jobs for young people
2. Objective 3 To give young people the opportunity to become more active and productive participants in the
workforce and enjoy a greater degree of social inclusion
Expected result: At the end of the project, young people will be empowered and be included in the labor market
