Why I Want to Be a Photographer
Photography is the process of taking photographs and printing them out. Mostly used for personal purposes, photography is a common object in our
everyday lives. It is used to make memories, track the course of our lives, and simply capture the beauty of and event or object.
The typical day of a photographer is quit diverse. In a typical day photographer photographs subjects or news worthy events, using still cameras –such
as a family, person, animal, wedding, graduation, birthday, place, or other object. They determine desired images and picture composition, such as
when a customer wants blemishes removed. Their cameras need to be adjusted on a regular basis. They are constantly creating artificial lights and
backgrounds to reach the desired effect of the customer. If using a camera that contains film they must have the film processed. Hours are spent going
through hundreds of photos to select the best photo(s). They also use computer software to adjust and enhance the images. (Institute, Typical Day, 2011)
I chose this career for several reasons. The first, is because my aunt is a photographer. She introduced me to photography at a young age and I have been
interested ever since. I love taking photographs of anything, but mostly nature such as animals, and natural happenings. I enjoy taking a photograph of
something that most people would, at first, consider ugly, and making it beautiful, simply because of angles or lighting. It truly fascinates me that your

Photographer Techniques
A good photographer knows how to use some little tricks to create a pretty scene, and the good photographer knows how to use small techniques to
build the mood for the photo. Pretty scene and mood of the photo together create the meaning for the photo, and they allure people to step into the
photo. Some of the techniques that used to make a photo looks pretty is the lighting of the photo, and the angle of that photo. And some tricks that
are used to create a photo are models, sand, fake fog, etc. Photographer just needs a little bit of tricks to create a deep meaning of the photo. The first
photo shows a mysterious wardrobe that stands in the middle of some nowhere desert. The wardrobe is surrounded by cloud and fog. The sky is not
clear, and it does not present the sky blue color. Instead, the sky is cloudy and gloomy. It seems like some important but mysterious event is in prepare
to happen. Then suddenly appears a mysterious wardrobe on the desert under the gloomy sky. The rocks on the ground follows by the stone stair lead

Second photo shows a man is building a model of a small wardrobe on top of a stone. The man wears a pair of glasses is carefully bends in front of
the model. His brow furrows and his lip tightly together all show that he is afraid any additional actions might mess up the model. The man holds a
white cup with fake fog on it. He carefully uses his right hand to spill the fog around the wardrobe, and he uses his left hand to hold on to the stone
and adjust the wardrobe. Third photo shows a camera in front of the model. Model is put on a table in the beach, and it is put under the cloudy but not
gloomy sky. The camera stands so close to the wardrobe because the wardrobe is small. Then the photo is taken, and the first photo appears.
Photographer then change the background color of the first photo to make it seems gloomy and

I started learning photography 2 years ago. As a beginner I had very little knowledge about photography and editing. But as time passed I started to
learn some more important stuff about this profession. As I became progressively fascinated with photography, a consuming passion started to increase
inside of me. The need to take photos was enamoring. And today Photography is now a way of expressing myself and I'm known as a good
photographer at many companies, hotels, schools, conferences and etc. I've worked as a photographer in 2 hotels this summer, I've edited a
sponsor video for a company, and in so many international schools I'm being called to take pictures because I'm known as my school's head media.
Also I'm a teacher of my own class about video and photo editing at school. I teach more than 10 students, and I'm hoping they'll be great editors in
the future too. Along with this class, I'm going to open my own Photography class soon. This year I started to feel that this passion has changed into
an obsession. The reason why I consider myself as a good photographer is because I'm capable of doing marvelous things with my camera and editing
skills. A decent photographer would dependably be looking for good landscapes or occasions to catch great moments and I am glad to be one among
them.
Along with individual work of mine, I also first think about my team. Because teamwork is a gathering of individuals with different corresponding
abilities, cooperating towards a

The advantages and disadvantages of being a photographer in Malaysia.

Henri Cartier Bresson, photography is an illusion which the photo are made with the camera as they are made with the eye to observe, heart to feel, and
head to think. So what is it in your mind when it comes about photography? Is it just the art of capturing a picture? Is it easy to become a
photographer? As a photographer, it is not about having a modern, high technology camera or only about clicking the camera but it is worth more
than that. Even with a normal, compact camera, one can become a photographer. Being a photographer is a wide perspective career. Photography

Edward S. Curtis's 'Historical Photographer'
Historical Photographer For the historical photographer part of my assignment, I choose photographer Edward S. Curtis. The reason I choose Mr.
Curtis and his works is because he help preserve and document accurate depictions of Native Americans at a time when most of society had only a
limited knowledge of what Native Americans culture was. In addition, nearly all of his work from an artistic standpoint looks breathtaking almost like
a painting expert it is photography. As for the images, what drew me to these images was how well done they taken giving the fact that Curtis had to
make the aperture and exposure were right otherwise it would bad. As for weakness, I think the only that type that could be address is Curtis could

Thesis Statement About Photography
The purpose of my study is to give people a chance to understand what is the meaning of photography and how it was invented, plus how people was
able to take photographs before the camera was invented.
The significance of my study is that nowadays, a lot of people or its better to say most of people thinks that they know everything about photography
and they think that they are an experts and a professional photographers once they hold the camera or actually once they hold a digital cameras (since
a lot of them think that the digital cameras are more easy), but actually they do not even know what photography is. In fact, I see this situation is a
big problem because I believe that to be a real or an expert photographer, the person...show more content...
As I mentioned before that all the references and bibliographies have the same information about how photography was before it got invented and
about how did photography started and how it got developed from year to year and from century to century. From that time until today Photography
has developed too much and I believe it will keep on developing from day to day and from year to year. Photography became so much easier than
before, there is a huge difference between cameras these days and cameras from that time, and only god knows what they will invent and how it will
be developed more in the coming

You should avoid blazing sunshine at noon because it would make your photos become too shine. When taking photo outside, if the angle of sight is
against the sunlight, you can use the flash. You also can use a dedicated light to light up some dark area caused by sunlight such as: eye socket, neck,
and so on. Do not let the light from the back get all the attention of the main character. When talking photograph at night, pay attention to the distance
between the flash and the subject. If it is too dark, use more lights.
Next, take many shot at the same sight in order to choose later. Taking many shot helps you to improve your skill and increase the chances of having
beautiful photos. While you taking photos, many mistakes may happen. We do not want our beautiful photographs depreciate because of those small
mistakes. So take many shot at each sight and pick out the most beautiful one.
Then, hold you camera steadily. Some people often shake their hands while taking photo so the photo will be blurred and dim. And of course, that
photo will be useless. Try to keep your hands and your feet steadily when taking photograph. You can use a table tripod or any other fulcrums to help
you hold the camera. In short, try to hold the camera steadily to make the most beautiful photographs.
Finally, use editing photos software. One of the most popular editing photos software today is Photoshop. With Photoshop, you can make your photos

The Relationship of Photographs, History, and Memory
Abstract: This essay reflects on the relationship of photographs, history, and memory based on a found and mutilated photo album. Photographs provide
opportunities for disrupting and restructuring history with their attraction to memory; they privilege the subjective, creative power of the personal
explanation and provide an emotional and even ideological grounding for memory. Photographs as manifestations of memory assist in the process of
understanding the present.
As this century fades into the past it is worth remembering that its course––in contrast to earlier times––has been chronicled by a visual narrative that
relies on the attraction of photographs as means of storing...show more content...
The violent markings of the photo album and its images, however, produce an equally powerful message that jars the memory as it disrupts and distorts
the photographic chronicle of her life and that of her family and friends. The result is a complex visual experience that addresses the use of images in
producing knowledge and making history.
Photographs are re–collections of the past. This essay is about photography, memory, and history and addresses therelationship between photographic
images and the need to remember; it is based on the notion that seeing is a prelude to historical knowledge and that understanding the past relies on the
ability to imagine. At the same time, the role of thought and imagination in the production of society––as reflected in the earlier work of Louis
Althusser (1970), Maurice Godelier (1984) and perhaps more significantly, Cornelis Castoriadis (1975), suggests yet another role for photography in the
construction of a social and cultural reality. Photographs in capitalist societies contribute to the production of information and participate in the
surveillance of the environment where their subjective and objective qualities are applied to the private uses of photographic images in the
perpetuation of memory.
Photographs are also manifestations of time and records of experience. Consequently, writings on photographic theory are filled with references to
representations of the past. Roland Barthes (1981, 76), for instance,

Personal Reflective on a Photo Essay
Personal Reflective on a Photo
Photos bring memories back to life. Each photo tells a different story, sometimes things you don't always like to remember.
The photo that I have chosen is of a young girl in a pretty formal dress. She is holding a packet of Minties, her favourite lollies. Her grandma gave
them to her right after she performed in a concert for her dancing school.
Athol Williby School of dance, a place she'd been going to for 3 years, since she was 7 years old. Every Monday her mother would drop her off out the
front of the old office building. She'd walk down the laneway round the back, up the old wooden stairs into a change room.
A change room where all the older girls gossiped as she and her friend arrived....show more content...
As everyone was arriving the young girls noticed how many people actually went to the dance school. They were shocked; they'd only seen the older
girls that gossiped in the change rooms before class.
As the doors opened and everyone moved into the building, a tall lady with red curly hair and a big noise came into view. She was screaming
instructions at everyone; they just kept walking through the doors.
The young girls walked into change room 8. It was huge with ballet costumes on hangers.
There were lights around the mirrors just like in the movies. The little girls felt very glamorous.
They were told to sit on the ground and wait until Marie, the lady that would be looking after and helping them get into their costumes, came.
The young girls sat and waited patiently, giggling excitedly about which costumes they would get to wear.
All of sudden like a gust of wind the door flung open and in came the screaming lady with red curly hair and a big noise.
All the young girls gasped. Marie as she was called stood over all the girls and looked down on them.
"Why aren't you girls in your costumes yet?"
Everyone looked down, no one said a thing everyone was too scared.
"Well hurry up them, it's those ones on the rack over there"
Everyone rushed over to the rack she had pointed at and started putting on his or her costumes.
"I'll be back in 5 minutes, all of you

David Bailey: A Comparison Of Two Photographers
Comparing 2 photographers David Bailey
David Bailey took a 'simple' approach to his photography. David Bailey was a photographer for Vogue. He said "I've always tried to do pictures that
don't date. I always go for simplicity". A lot of his work was done in black and white as it will never date. Back in the 70's black and white was an
original effect to use and even today black and white still has a massive effect on the world of photography. These were known as timeless shots. I
would take a similar approach with my work because of the effect of the simple work. To make something so simple have a huge impact can really
strike an audience as a talent and would be good on the front of a magazine. He used many cameras but the one that he use

Contemporary versus Historical Photographers
To compare a contemporary photographer with a historical photographer to see how photography has evolved and how it can be used?
This essay will investigate the work of contemporary photographer Tim Walker, and historical photographer Ansel Adams. This essay will examine the
many changes of how photography has evolved through the decades from the photographer's style, use of equipment, techniques and what photography
is used for. These changes will be seen by looking at the contemporary photographer and comparing them to the historical photographer.

Photography Essay : My Passion For Photography
My passion for photography began in High School, from the moment I walked into Photography 1, I was in love. I seemed to have a good eye when
it came to landscape and animal photography, after hours of taking photos I would then spend hours in the dark room developing. For me, photography
has been no more than just a hobby. I admire all professional photographers, especially those who specialize in newborn photography, because I envy
them. I found Jessica Kennedy, of Jessica Rachel Photography, on Facebook. Her style and ability to take beautiful photographs captured my eye
instantly. I did, what most people do, and followed her. I am always amazed when her pictures display on my newsfeed, especially the newborns, I just
can't help but look. Kennedy's loved for photography started with an obsession with her taking pictures of her children and turned to photography as a
hobby. Then with a gifted DSLR (Digital Single–Lens Reflex) camera she started researching classes in her area. She states "from there is snowballed",
taking any opportunity that came along to gain hands on experience. She started her business in 2011, and then in 2016 her LLC (Limited Liability
Company) business began. She started by advertising through Facebook and 'word of mouth'. She feels social media is the easiest way to connect
with clients, without the burden of cost. Kennedy also partners with her local OBGYN clinic and Stork Vision ( a pregnancy ultrasound office), by
displaying her work for free

Is it really essential for a common man to know about Photography?
Although you want it be a pleasurable pastime, it is substantial to capture the moment or whatever is the aimed target, with utmost precision. This

Cameras, The Right Angle, And Camera Cameras
Cameras are to photographers as paints and brushers are to painters. With the right angle, lighting, and composition, a photographer can turn a simple
scene into a work of art. Cameras capture moments that would otherwise be lost, and allows them to be saved and shared. They create photos which
reveal how beautiful life is; they tell a wordless story. Each photographer has their own favorites, own style, and own experiences which call for
certain types of cameras. The most popular cameras are Point–and–Shoot, DSLR, and SLR. The Point–and–Shoot is the simplest of all the cameras.
You just point thecamera, and shoot the photo. Most use focus free lenses or autofocus for focusing, automatic systems for setting the exposure options,
and have flash units built in. They are popular with people who do not consider themselves photographers and just need a camera to document special
events or other daily things they want to remember or deem as photo worthy. Point–and–Shoot cameras have several physical pros. They are very
compact, so they're very easy to just slip into one's pocket and carry anywhere. They are light weight and don't require any excess accessories such as
bags or tripods to carry it around. They all come with fixed lenses, so you don't have to worry about changing lenses. They have a massive depth of
field which means that typically can't separate foreground from background, bringing everything in focus and making the entire scene look sharp. And,
they are the

  • 2. Why I Want to Be a Photographer Photography is the process of taking photographs and printing them out. Mostly used for personal purposes, photography is a common object in our everyday lives. It is used to make memories, track the course of our lives, and simply capture the beauty of and event or object. The typical day of a photographer is quit diverse. In a typical day photographer photographs subjects or news worthy events, using still cameras –such as a family, person, animal, wedding, graduation, birthday, place, or other object. They determine desired images and picture composition, such as when a customer wants blemishes removed. Their cameras need to be adjusted on a regular basis. They are constantly creating artificial lights and backgrounds to reach the desired effect of the customer. If using a camera that contains film they must have the film processed. Hours are spent going through hundreds of photos to select the best photo(s). They also use computer software to adjust and enhance the images. (Institute, Typical Day, 2011) I chose this career for several reasons. The first, is because my aunt is a photographer. She introduced me to photography at a young age and I have been interested ever since. I love taking photographs of anything, but mostly nature such as animals, and natural happenings. I enjoy taking a photograph of something that most people would, at first, consider ugly, and making it beautiful, simply because of angles or lighting. It truly fascinates me that your opinion of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Photographer Techniques A good photographer knows how to use some little tricks to create a pretty scene, and the good photographer knows how to use small techniques to build the mood for the photo. Pretty scene and mood of the photo together create the meaning for the photo, and they allure people to step into the photo. Some of the techniques that used to make a photo looks pretty is the lighting of the photo, and the angle of that photo. And some tricks that are used to create a photo are models, sand, fake fog, etc. Photographer just needs a little bit of tricks to create a deep meaning of the photo. The first photo shows a mysterious wardrobe that stands in the middle of some nowhere desert. The wardrobe is surrounded by cloud and fog. The sky is not clear, and it does not present the sky blue color. Instead, the sky is cloudy and gloomy. It seems like some important but mysterious event is in prepare to happen. Then suddenly appears a mysterious wardrobe on the desert under the gloomy sky. The rocks on the ground follows by the stone stair lead the way...show more content... Second photo shows a man is building a model of a small wardrobe on top of a stone. The man wears a pair of glasses is carefully bends in front of the model. His brow furrows and his lip tightly together all show that he is afraid any additional actions might mess up the model. The man holds a white cup with fake fog on it. He carefully uses his right hand to spill the fog around the wardrobe, and he uses his left hand to hold on to the stone and adjust the wardrobe. Third photo shows a camera in front of the model. Model is put on a table in the beach, and it is put under the cloudy but not gloomy sky. The camera stands so close to the wardrobe because the wardrobe is small. Then the photo is taken, and the first photo appears. Photographer then change the background color of the first photo to make it seems gloomy and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. I started learning photography 2 years ago. As a beginner I had very little knowledge about photography and editing. But as time passed I started to learn some more important stuff about this profession. As I became progressively fascinated with photography, a consuming passion started to increase inside of me. The need to take photos was enamoring. And today Photography is now a way of expressing myself and I'm known as a good photographer at many companies, hotels, schools, conferences and etc. I've worked as a photographer in 2 hotels this summer, I've edited a sponsor video for a company, and in so many international schools I'm being called to take pictures because I'm known as my school's head media. Also I'm a teacher of my own class about video and photo editing at school. I teach more than 10 students, and I'm hoping they'll be great editors in the future too. Along with this class, I'm going to open my own Photography class soon. This year I started to feel that this passion has changed into an obsession. The reason why I consider myself as a good photographer is because I'm capable of doing marvelous things with my camera and editing skills. A decent photographer would dependably be looking for good landscapes or occasions to catch great moments and I am glad to be one among them. Along with individual work of mine, I also first think about my team. Because teamwork is a gathering of individuals with different corresponding abilities, cooperating towards a Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 10. The Relationship of Photographs, History, and Memory Abstract: This essay reflects on the relationship of photographs, history, and memory based on a found and mutilated photo album. Photographs provide opportunities for disrupting and restructuring history with their attraction to memory; they privilege the subjective, creative power of the personal explanation and provide an emotional and even ideological grounding for memory. Photographs as manifestations of memory assist in the process of understanding the present. As this century fades into the past it is worth remembering that its course––in contrast to earlier times––has been chronicled by a visual narrative that relies on the attraction of photographs as means of storing...show more content... The violent markings of the photo album and its images, however, produce an equally powerful message that jars the memory as it disrupts and distorts the photographic chronicle of her life and that of her family and friends. The result is a complex visual experience that addresses the use of images in producing knowledge and making history. Photographs are re–collections of the past. This essay is about photography, memory, and history and addresses therelationship between photographic images and the need to remember; it is based on the notion that seeing is a prelude to historical knowledge and that understanding the past relies on the ability to imagine. At the same time, the role of thought and imagination in the production of society––as reflected in the earlier work of Louis Althusser (1970), Maurice Godelier (1984) and perhaps more significantly, Cornelis Castoriadis (1975), suggests yet another role for photography in the construction of a social and cultural reality. Photographs in capitalist societies contribute to the production of information and participate in the surveillance of the environment where their subjective and objective qualities are applied to the private uses of photographic images in the perpetuation of memory. Photographs are also manifestations of time and records of experience. Consequently, writings on photographic theory are filled with references to representations of the past. She was screaming instructions at everyone; they just kept walking through the doors.

He said "I've always tried to do pictures that don't date. I always go for simplicity". A lot of his work was done in black and white as it will never date. Back in the 70's black and white was an original effect to use and even today black and white still has a massive effect on the world of photography. These were known as timeless shots. I would take a similar approach with my work because of the effect of the simple work. • 17. Photography Essay : My Passion For Photography My passion for photography began in High School, from the moment I walked into Photography 1, I was in love. I seemed to have a good eye when it came to landscape and animal photography, after hours of taking photos I would then spend hours in the dark room developing. For me, photography has been no more than just a hobby. I admire all professional photographers, especially those who specialize in newborn photography, because I envy them. I found Jessica Kennedy, of Jessica Rachel Photography, on Facebook. Her style and ability to take beautiful photographs captured my eye instantly. I did, what most people do, and followed her. I am always amazed when her pictures display on my newsfeed, especially the newborns, I just can't help but look. Kennedy's loved for photography started with an obsession with her taking pictures of her children and turned to photography as a hobby. Then with a gifted DSLR (Digital Single–Lens Reflex) camera she started researching classes in her area. She states "from there is snowballed", taking any opportunity that came along to gain hands on experience. She started her business in 2011, and then in 2016 her LLC (Limited Liability Company) business began. She started by advertising through Facebook and 'word of mouth'. She feels social media is the easiest way to connect with clients, without the burden of cost. Kennedy also partners with her local OBGYN clinic and Stork Vision ( a pregnancy ultrasound office), by displaying her work for free Get more content on HelpWriting.net

With the right angle, lighting, and composition, a photographer can turn a simple scene into a work of art. Cameras capture moments that would otherwise be lost, and allows them to be saved and shared. They create photos which reveal how beautiful life is; they tell a wordless story. Each photographer has their own favorites, own style, and own experiences which call for certain types of cameras. The most popular cameras are Point–and–Shoot, DSLR, and SLR. The Point–and–Shoot is the simplest of all the cameras. You just point thecamera, and shoot the photo.
