• Supporting transformation of the novel ideas selected
into viable added value social initiatives, leveraging

the standardized Social Reporting Standard
• Developing a Best-Practice for the processes of
Ideation, Selection, Funding, Supporting and
Monitoring of initiatives in Digital Social Innovation

6. Proposals for synergies
between CAPS projects
• Collective initiatives (fostered and supported by such
projects as D-CENT, CATALYST, DecarboNet , Sci
Café 2.0, etc.) could come out with project proposals
looking for funding through the CHEST competitive
calls
• Projects selected for CHEST funding could specifically
benefit from the knowledge generated in one of the
CAPS Research Projects for Grass Roots Experiments
and Pilots when they have a similar thematic scope
• CHEST could certainly take advantage of visibility in
other project platforms
• CHEST could align its approach for impact
assessment to Ia4Si’s one
