2. This cover is an A-level media, from a different
school.
We like this cover because it looks really
professional, so the person doing this cover must of
really took her/his time and knew what he/she was
doing.
We like this cover because on our brief we
mentioned that we wanted the background plain or
just one simple colour and that’s exactly what this
person did.
The blue tittle goes with the blue at the bottom of
her dress, and all the other subtitles are different
colours that go with the other colours of her dress.
The tittle and subtitles stand out because they are
bright colours, and bold writing.
As for the girl in the cover, the way she’s posing is a
quite common pose that you would find on a real
magazine cover
What she’s wearing is simple, but it looks nice and
the fact that the writing goes with her dress.
That’s what we want to do with our magazine, have
a piece of clothing that goes with the writing.

3. This cover is also an A-level media, from a different
school.
We didn’t like this cover because it doesn’t look
really organised, it looks like the person that did this
cover didn’t take as much time and wasn’t that
dedicated into making a cover as the person who
did the cover above.
The writing on cover is too big, and even though it
stands out I think it stands out too much and is
taking the attention away from the girl on the
cover. Also the writing isn’t that clear because it’s
too bold.
The lay out of the writing isn’t very professional it
just looks like the person just used power point and
copied and pasted the words onto the cover.
At the bottom of the cover it says “Swedish House
Mafia Biggest Report Ever” the writing just doesn’t
fit in with the rest of the words which are in red, it
just looks out of place and it shouldn’t be there.
We did like the fact that the background was
plain, but we would of liked it more if she had a red
piece of clothing to make the writing link with her.
