 Ensures safe and reliable operation of the plant, equipment (reactor, filter, heater, boiler,
incinerator, tank, pump), pipeline network and jetty facility.
 Monitoring process variables such as temperatures, pressures to ensure they meet accepted
routine operating parameters of the plant.
 Inspect pipelines, tightening connections and lubricate valves as necessary.
 Take ullage and Inn age measurements of crude oil (raw material) and finished products
such as Naphtha, Gas Oil, Gasoline and Residue.
 Maintains records of transfers such as crude, naphtha, and diesel received and distributed,
gauge readings, pumping time, and storage dates for calculating production rate.
 Performs structured rounds (field/DCS console) and takes corrective action to maintain
equipment and plant operations within safe operating limits.
 Complies fully with all QHSE requirements, policies and standards, and wears required
personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
 Installing & commissioning mechanical equipment such as heaters, boilers, pumps, valves,
heat exchangers and columns.
 Assist in the maintenance of the relevant documentation such as standard operational
procedures and ICT facilities inventory.
 Servicing, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and taking restorative actions.
