3. myUH Faculty Center Components
The myUH Faculty Center is your “academic
toolbox.” The module allows faculty/instructors to:
• View updated roster of enrolled students for a
term
• View your weekly schedule
• Enter/change grades
• View students’ program/plan
• View rosters of past semesters, including course
information and students’ classification/major
4. Accessing the myUH Faculty Center
1. From the UH home page (www.uh.edu), click the
“Login to AccessUH” link.
2. Log in with your seven-digit myUH ID (PeopleSoft ID),
or use your Cougarnet ID.
3. Enter your password.
4. Click on Login to AccessUH link.
5. Accessing the myUH Faculty Center
Click on the “myUH Self Service” icon in the University
Services section.
**The left side of the landing page provides updated
announcements that are important — such as grading
timelines, academic calendar information and
information on uploading your CV and syllabus. Please
take some time to read them.

14. Course Grading
Faculty members will receive an email when Grade Rosters are
available. At that time, the Grade Roster icon will appear to the right
of the Class Roster icon in the Faculty Center. Click on the Grade
Roster icon for the course to be graded. There are two ways to enter
a grade: a) Manually enter a grade by each student’s name; or b)
Upload grades from a spreadsheet. This presentation includes
instructions for manual entry. Click here for spreadsheet upload
instructions.
15. Course Grading
Click the drop-down icon in the Roster Grade
column and select appropriate grade for the
students. Be sure to Save your entries.
Note: The Office of the University Registrar posts grades to
student’s records every 3 hours, which allows students to
see their grades.

Notes regarding grading:
Please pay special attention to those students on your
roster who have an Applied to Graduate indicator of “Y”.
Please grade them as quickly as possible.
17. Course Grading
• Faculty members will have access to input grades until the “fully
graded” date listed in the announcements in the Faculty Center
entry page.
• After the “fully graded” date window closes, the “Request Grade
Change” icon will appear on the Grade Roster link in the Faculty
Center. Use this link if you wish to change a grade.
• Detailed instructions on submitting a grade change after the
“fully graded” date can found at this link.
19. Uploading Your CV and Syllabi
• Timelines for uploading CVs and Syllabi are
located in the announcements sections in the
Faculty Center landing page.
• A link to detailed instructions for uploading CVs
and Syllabi are located in the Faculty Center
landing page.
20. Uploading Your CV and Syllabi
• Instructors who teach undergraduate courses are required
to upload syllabi per HB2504.
• Instructors who teach graduate courses will not see the
“upload syllabus” link in the class roster.
• Uploads of both CV and Syllabi must be performed in the
Faculty Center and cannot be done in the Blackboard
module.
