4. In pairs, SS play tic-tac-toe with the word grids. One S is X and the other one is O. SS have to say a sentence with a vocabulary word. If they say it
correctly, they can draw an X/O in the grid. If the sentence is incorrect, they lose a turn.
5. SS individually find the words in the Word Search Puzzle.
6. T projects the correct answers. APP CS

7. SS work in groups and play Spelling Charades. T uses APP CS > Timer to keep the time.
8. SS choose six words and write them on each side of the die (DR Grammar Dice). Then, SS throw the die and say one sentence with the given word.

3. SS discuss why they checked true or false and persuade other SS to change their option.

5. T plays Track 28 again and writes on the board the “direction words.” * T should monitor the listening process by stopping the track periodically, if needed.
6. T projects the pictures on p. 222. Using the Numbered Heads Together Strategy, SS say the music genres that they think are pointed by the T. APP CS
7. T plays the second conversation (Track 29) and check (√) the pictures of the music genres mentioned.
8. T projects the correct answers APP CS.
9. T uses APP CS > the random selector to choose a S to say the music genres that were not been mentioned.
10. In groups, SS answer the questions using complete sentences (subject, verb, and complements).
Post-activities
11. SS comment the idioms.
12. T asks the following questions:
- Who are Josh’s favorite singers? * If necessary, T plays Track 29 again. SS pay extra attention to the third intervention by Josh.
