A mother pushing a baby stroller was knocked over by a car in Eccles this evening near the Ladywell roundabout. Paramedics responded and found that the mother and baby only had minor injuries and took them to Salford Royal Hospital for evaluation. The driver of the car has not yet been apprehended, and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact authorities to help identify the driver.

Earlier this evening a mother pushing a pram was knocked over by a car on Eccles New Road.
Paramedics were called to the scene at the Ladywell roundabout near West One Retail Park at
4:30pm. Paramedics released that the mother and her baby suffered only minor injuries and
have both been taken to Salford Royal Hospital for assessment. The driver of the car has yet to
be apprehended. If you know anything about the incident let us or the authorities as soon as
